Kanye on being deemed a violent person because of his paparazzi experience…
“I haven’t done anything violent. They make it seem like I actually went and hit the paparazzi. I haven’t. I was restrained. I’m good at restraining myself from committing violent acts. I know how to control my temper. That one paparazzo made it a bigger deal. I just put my hand up and he felt like he had more right to my personal space than I did. I put my hand up to stop him from shooting me.”
This should be a good indepth read. As for the rest the issue, it also features “a piece on the fight for J. Sure most Kanye stans will cop those Air Yeezy’s from Nike but for those paper kings Kanye gives you a lil’ LV love right in time for summer, specifically June ‘09.
Every year we vow to change our ways, however most New Year’s resolutions are never actually followed through. Well, Kanye West wants to make sure he kicks off the New Year right with a new attitude. After beefing with the paps, Kanye wants to make amends for the ’09, claiming he will be a lil’ bit nicer to the paps. He tells TMZ,
“I love you guys. That’s my New Year’s resolution. Me and the paparazzi.”
So does this mean no more smashing cameras and roughing up the paps?! We’ll see…
Check out “Gifted” by Kanye West ft. Santogold and Lykke Li, a collaboration off of the N.A.S.A (North America South America) project which is set drop on February 19, 2009. Kanye’s verse is on point and the beat puts you in an intergalactic trance. As for Santogold, it seems like she’s really going to have M.I.A really missing in action!

In other Yeezy news, word is he and The Good Girl Gone Bad might be hitting the studio together collaborating on a re-recorded version of the single “Paranoid” from his latest album 808’s & Heartbreak. Now, if this is in fact true the duet will drop sometime in January 2009. However, Kanye recently said that “Paranoid” will most likely be his next single after “Love Lockdown” and “Heartless” , but he also made it clear that he wasn’t going to release the track just yet because he wants to let the other songs “soak into the culture”.
Did you catch Kanye West performing “Love Lockdown“, “Heartless/Pinocchio” off of 808 & Heartbreaks on Saturday Night Live? Is it me or was this a bad karaoke moment? Watch and judge for yourself.
Kanye stilll hasn’t taken our advice on making blog posts titles, guess he’s trying to start a new trend but I doubt it’ll it catch on due to the fact many bloggers are on that SEO thing….but I digress. His new single will be “Paranoid”, we’ll see how it’ll do on the charts.
And remember that “Who the f*ck is Stephen Colbert?” tweet via his twitter page, giving Colbert more amo to work with and thus launching “Operation Humble Kanye”. Well now it turns out ‘Ye is crying foul. Claiming he knows nothing of the tweet and that it wasn’t him! Is Kanye speaking the truth or just trying to cover his a$$?!
