Weezy is the latest celebrity to takeover the blog world. Weezy was offered to blog for ESPN and his first post is part of a blog series for the major sports site. As expected from a sports website, Weezy only talks about football and mentions a couple things about tennis which appears to be his second love. Looks like he’s taken a break from the sizzurp or hired a ghost blogger. Check out the excerpts below:
Weezy’s reason for blogging for ESPN Magazine:
“I don’t watch nothing but sports—no movies, no news, no television shows—so I thought this would be fun.”
Weezy’s favorite sports memory:
“I grew up playing football. Believe it or not, I was a fullback. When I was nine, ten, eleven, I was a great blocker. I knew how to block real good and the other kids didn’t. So there I was. One game when I was ten years old we were on the goal line about to score, and coach called the play for me. I was supposed to go one way, but I ended up sneaking around the other side on a sweep. Everybody thought I was already tackled. The ref was already blowin’ his whistle. But I was still up and I stutter stepped one way and beat the last guy trying to get me and scored that touchdown. That’s my favorite sports memory for myself.”

US Olympic swimmer superstar Michael Phelps graces the August 25th cover of Sports Illustrated wearing his 8 gold medals. This 23 year-old is really killing the competition. If you haven’t seen the man in action…you’re missing some serious BEASTIN’! It’s funny how in almost every interview, reporters ask “What is Phelps listening to through those ever-present iPod earbuds?” Answer: Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Eminem, OutKast, and Young Jeezy. I’m sure many other Phelps wannabees and kiddies are presently adding these infectious joints to their heavy rotation playlist while dreaming of winning gold.
Don’t be surprised to see an upcoming iPod/Phelps endorsement deal to come!
