BELLES HIT NYC COSTUME BALL…

All the A-listers came out last night for NYC’s Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala. Everyone from Beyonce to Kimora Lee came out for paps and also for whats known as Manhattan’s social event of the season. Peep the many flicks below. Beyonce sans Jay-Z and wedding ring, a sprung Kimora and her beau Djimon, a deadly looking Janet Jackson and her troll, a bloated JLo and skeletal hubby, and of course a ghettofied MJB worked last night’s red carpet.

ATTENTION LADIES: Think you got what it takes to tour the world with a singer/songwriter,who has sold over 25 million albums worldwide and has won numerous awards, including 11 Grammy’s? Well, if so then Alicia Keys is looking for you! A. Keys is looking for a backup singer and she is inviting female singers ages 21-30 to audition for her via MySpace. For those interested y’all have until May 5 to submit a video, 30 seconds or longer of yourselves singing a capella to A. Keys’ MySpace site http://www.myspace.com/aliciakeys. Ideal candidates “must be physically fit and able to dance”. There’s no word yet on what portion of A. Keys’ “No One” tour the backup singer would take part in, but don’t let that stop you!

Rihanna along with Hollywood Chuck hosted a surprise birthday bash for Melissa Forde. Many of her celebrity friends including Teyana Taylor, Ray-J, BJ Coleman, Chrisette Michelle, Dawn from Danity Kane, and many others rolled through to show some love.

Though it was Melissa’s b-day, ya already know RiRi hogged up all the attention by showing up in a skin tight dress and showing off her new star tatoos trailing off her back. On the real, I’m all about the ink but I’m starting to think shorty’s got bad fetish for this mess. Soon the poor girl girl will be all tatted up…looking all diseased and issh..not cool.

Well not really…but from the looks of these pictures shorty really got it bad for Usher. I mean, is it really that serious?! Usher stopped by the TRL studios to premiere his “Love in the Club” video and by the looks of things Usher still got it. Yes he may be married to a pet monster (for now!) and yes he’s older…but he’s still got it! He also made a stop at BET’s 106 & Park and made sure to clear the air on the Tameka rampage mess.

While Bobby is busy trashing his ex, Whitney is out and about making rare appearances…causing a rukus. Pop diva, Whitney Houston, made a cameo appearance at yesterday’s Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night event in Scottsdale Arizona. Yes she’s gettin’ older, but those boobies are defying gravity in this red ensemble. Could it be thanks to a lil’ nip/tuck & lift, hmmm??? Those puppies are looking rather inflated and hard, right?? Anywhoo the diva posed for flicks with her singing cuz Dionne Warwick and even reunited with her former on- screen flame Kevin Costner (memba The BodyGuard?) GAY 26 CELEBRATE THEIR COMING OUT DAY…

Bad Boy’s newest boy group Day 26 celebrated their album release at Room Service last night in NYC. The flaming boys were joined by some label mates and other media goons. While Cassie charmed the paps with her beauty, Angel Lola Luv was busy hypnotizing others with her real/fake booty. All that azz just ain’t right. Surprisingly enough Diddy stopped by too…kind of funny he didn’t show up for Danity Kane’s album release party last week. Then again, Diddy is funny like that…nah mean!

In other Day 26 related news, the boys appeared on Hot 97’s Miss Jones show this morning…though she was pleasant and easy on them the first time at the station- the second time Miss Jones got in on the boys. All because of the wonderful editing done by MTV folks on the last episode of MTB4 where Donnie & Day 26 kept it peace with Jonesy thanks to their flattery and flirting with Jonesy. She basically carried on with her ranting about getting played on national TV…Is she for real?? She’s constantly playing people on the regular and now that her bloated ass was caught out there blushing and gushing (editted or not) on camera, she’s tight! If you give it…you gotta be ready to take it. Somebody get me the video link of the episode…

ASHANTI PULLS A SWITCH-A-ROO…

Check out Ashanti walking into MTV’s TRL looking like some hobo compared to her on set look. She stopped by TRL set yesterday to debut her new video for “The Way That I Love You” and also show us how makeovers get done. Shorty walked in looking jacked up and came out straight diva like…don’t know about those plaid pants and the slapped on side-bang- either way Ashanti proves the wonders of make-up.
