WILL JA RULE RESUSCITATE THE INC?!With Irv Gotti’s “Gotti’s Way” on VH1 and JaRule’s new album The Mirror dropping November 13th…can Ja save the label?! Check out what the fallen rapper thinks! In some other Irv Gotti news, he stopped by Hot 97’s Miss Jones morning show and gave hellauva interesting interview. Talked about show, his family (specifically his relationship w/Deb), Ashanti, JaRule’s new album, his loyality to Kenneth “Supreme” and even addressed 50 Cent as a fake! Irv basically said 50 Cent sold an image (something totally fake) and NYC (the public) bought into it…anywhoo, I’ll see if I can get my hands on the audio and post it…very interesting!
In the meantime, read what JaRule’s been saying about Fiddy:
“He wanted to be where I was at. He wanted to be me. He just didn’t know how to go about it. He didn’t know how to go about and say, ‘Yo, Ja, I want to do a record with you.’ So his thing to get in the game was to insult everyone in the business. I think he really, really admires me. He admires my work, he admires my music, my talent level. He admires all of that. But I don’t see him as a talent. Because for me he’s more of a spectacle. And that’s why he’s not meeting the bar [right now]. When you come in this business as a spectacle, you’re gonna have a short-lived career. Because now every time you drop, you have to meet that spectacle. People aren’t looking for the music anymore [from him]. It’s [a matter of,] can you match the intensity of the spectacle you created on your last project? His projects aren’t even about the music. Every record he puts out is about the other artist he’s [been] aligned with [to battle].”

I agree with Ja. i love Ja Rule and his music. 50 needs to beef in order to sell. Bottom Line, his cd aint even all that. Kanye’s was better anyway. I love you Ja and come out knocking this muthafuckas out. Trust me people see that 50 is just the type to want to hate. Ja was on top so thats why he did it.

and 50 went at ja because they had personal issues from before. yes he went at other artist but it was in jest (like missy jay puffy, who he wrote for as well). but ja was personal. everyone else came at him first (game, fat joe..). you all can get it twisted because you hate fif but the fact is dude is an amazing songwriter and business man. and that has him as the richest man in hip hop 07 (see new forbes in ‘08) accomplishing what it took jay and puff over a decade to do and now surpassing them.
and btw the songs that made fif hot ‘in da club’ ‘magic stick’ ‘pimp’ ‘hate it or love it’ ‘21 questions’ had nothing to do with any other artist. and curtis is a way better cd than that nonsense kanye is selling. kany is doing well because he’s the anti 50 just a way for the haters to get back that’s it. we all know kanye ain’t ish when it comes to hip hop
