Rapper Yung Cock is on lock! The Bad Boy rapper was arrested in Cleveland, Ohio this weekend after his dumb ass tried to pass through an airport security checkpoint at the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport with a fully loaded handgun. Don’t he know you can’t even get pass the checkpoint with a mere nail clipper. Joc is currently facing local firearm charges, however he may also face charges under the Air Piracy Act. Dumb rappers do dumb things!

After all the on and off rumors, the ride has come to an end for Hov. Mogul Jay-Z announced on Christmas Eve that he’s officially stepping down as Def Jam president. According to The Associated Press, Jay-Z released a statement Monday saying it was “time for him to take on new challenges”. Jay’s boss, L.A. Reid, says he’s sorry Jay will be leaving: “He will nonetheless be missed in this executive capacity.” We’ll have to wait and see what’s his next move.

Like Biggie once said “Mo’ Money, Mo’ Problems”. Which is exactly what Remy Ma is dealing with after getting slapped with a $20 million civil lawsuit by the friend, Makeda, she shot. Remy is accused of shooting her in July after a dispute on a NYC street. In the suit which was filed in a New York court, Makeda accuses Remy of “willfully, wantonly and maliciously” shooting her. The suit also names Remy’s record companies, Universal Music Group and Sure Shot Recordings as defendants, alleging that they encouraged Remy to engage in violent behavior as part of image. I find that very hard to believe. Anywho, shorty also claims in the suit that she suffered mental anguish and severe physical harm after the shooting, which occurred because Remy thought shorty stole her money. Remy Ma is due to stand trial next year on charges of gang assault and witness tampering due to an incident in August, which prosecutors say she got her goons to attack shorty and her man. Remy has pleaded not guilty to the charges against her and continues to deny that she shot shorty. If convicted, she faces up to 25 years in prison. I’m saying, Remy needs some anger management for real…other people would’ve gotten shorty jumped or stopped talking to her…I mean it’s not like Remy ain’t cashing in. But ya’ll already know how these ghetto bird chicks do, always feel like they got something to prove…SMH!
