ALICIA KEYS’ “KEEP A CHILD ALIVE” 7TH ANNUAL BALL

Check out a very pregnant Alicia Keys working the red carpet belly and all in a stunning lace gown alongside her hubby, Swizz Beats at her 7th annual Keep A Child Alive’s Black Ball in NYC last night. Everyone from Whitney Houston, Usher to Jay-Z & Beyonce showed up in support. Overall the event was a huge success, raising over $2.4 million for lifesaving AIDS treatment, care and support to children and families affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa and India. Gotta love Alicia’s philanthropic ass! Check out some images below from the red carpet, the ball, and special performances.

Whitney was looking good…but unfortunately the heavy winds had her hair looking kinda crazy.

Usher was doing some major ass kissing to Alicia Keys…perhaps in hopes of scoring another hit with the mommy-to-be.

Later into the night, Alicia Keys hit the stage with Jay-Z, Sade, Janelle Monae and others. There’s nothing keeping Alicia away from that stage…not even a huge belly. Too cute.

As much as people are calling Alicia Keys a homewrecker…I’m beginning to adore Swizz & Alicia as a couple. The pair were spotted showing some PDA on a beach in Hawaii in celebration of Alicia’s 29th birthday. This seems like the real thing, so real the gossip folks are saying they’re ENGAGED! Yup, Swizz is in the process of finalizing his divorce from estranged wife Mashonda…but he’s so in love with Ms.Keys, he just had to put a ring on it and lock it down! Word is the rock is 7-carat piece of work.

According to a snitch,
“They are currently in Hawaii celebrating the engagement and her birthday. She feels blessed.”

Though the couple, specifically Alicia Keys, has kept their relationship on the QT, hush, hush…these pictures prove otherwise. The power couple recently collaborated to write and produce “Million Dollar Bill” for Whitney Houston’s seventh studio album, I Look to You. Looks like we officially have a new hip hop royalty power couple in the mix…wonder how Mashonda’s coping with all this.

COUPLED-UP: ALICIA KEYS & SWIZZ BEATS AT WHITNEY HOUSTON’S NYC LISTENING…

This past Tuesday NYC welcomed the return of a diva, Whitney Houston, at an intimate listening party at Jazz at Lincoln Center. And eventhough tracks from her comeback album I Look To You were played for all to listen, Whitney did not engage in any impromptu singing. Joints like “Million Dollar Bill,” written by Alicia Keys, “Life I Never Left” (recorded with Akon), and her new ballad, “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength” had the crowd cheering for the queen. And after the listening event, Clive Davis held a dinner at Monkey Bar, where Houston was joined by Alicia Keys and her boyfriend Swizz Beatz.
However Alicia & Swizz made sure photohogs didn’t snap any pics of them together, even though they were seated side by side at the reception. Yet they failed to realize…we ain’t DUMB!

See the hand of the dude on Alicia’s left…well it turns out it’s her boo Swizz- see matching tattoo and bracelets below.

Nice try Alicia and Swizz…but we see it all!
I’m saying everyone already knows Alicia & Swizz are a couple, so why bother hiding it…the damage is done!

SWIZZ BEATS CONFIRMS ALICIA KEYS RUMORS x BATTLES CHILD SUPPORT DRAMA

Last week, we wondered if Swizz’ verse on Drake’s “Best I Ever Had” remix was about Alicia Keys. This weekend, Swizz confirmed it to NYDaily News, saying:

“But we’re nowhere near ready for a baby or a ring,” laughs Swizz, aka Kasseem Dean. “This whole song is not about Alicia. The part about her cooking breakfast for me naked — she never done that for me.”
“What we have is so precious.”

As for Mashonda, well a snitch claims that when Swizz came clean to Mashonda about dating Alicia, Mashonda got jealous. Fast forward to day, Mashonda is seeking interim support for their 2-year-old son, Kasseem Jr., arguing that Swizz has slashed his payments.

“He’s been tightening the screws on her,” says a friend of Moshanda. “It’s becoming intolerable. Meanwhile, she’s seen the charges for jewelry he’s bought Alicia in France.”

Word is he’s slashed her support payments from $5,000 a week to $3,500 a month and snitches also say over the winter the heat went out in Mashonda’s 30,000 square feet Westchester mansion and Swizz wouldn’t have it fixed. Business Tellers from Swizz’s side say the heat was only out in one wing of the house and not where Mashonda and their son were sleeping and that,

“Swizz has put settlement offers on the table, but Mashonda won’t say what she needs. She just came back from Paris and London. She drives a Bentley Flying Spur and a Cadillac Escalade. I don’t think life’s too bad for her.”

Something tells me Mashonda is gonna get a nice payout out of this divorce.
I wonder if this song was dedicated to Swizz…

What’s a couple to do when the love and passion fades away? Should both parties stick it out and work it out or face reality that the love is no longer there? Maybe Swizz and Alicia really are in love. And when you find someone you truly love, should you put your feelings and happiness aside for the sake of keeping a marriage that’s no longer what it was together. Is Swizz really wrong for following his heart? Or is he another liar and cheat? Should we consider Mashonda a victim? Is Alicia Keys really a home wrecker? When it comes to matters of the heart, what are the rules?
