Trey Songz has created quite a buzz for himself this year with the release of his album Ready. He damn near put out seven singles and countless videos back-to-back! The good folks over at That Grape Juice snagged the “Panty Dropper” for an exclusive interview–where he talks about the success of his album and how it pretty much blew his previous albums out of the water.

Trey attributes his success to the heavy “steam” he created for it by dropping mad mixtapes and utilizing Twitter. But what about your sexually-charged videos and lyrics Trey?! Is sex really the reason why he’s been successful this time around? Or can we say that the songs are just versatile on this album? Realtalk, I’m a Trey Songz fan, but sometimes I’m a bit uncomfortable listening to his a$$ moan all the damn time in my ear. #Imjustsayin

Radio Killa aka The Dream drops a new video for his second single “Make Up Bag” featuring T.I. off his already delayed album Love King set to drop June 29th. Nick Cannon’s ex-fiance and Victoria’s Secret Angel Selita Eubanks plays The Dream’s boo as he showers her with expensive designer bags to make up for all the trifling things he’s done. The song really doesn’t do it for me and neither does the video.

ON DECK or OFF DECK?!

Looks like Radio Killah aka The Dream done got Mariah Carey caught up in some mess! According to two songwriters, The Dream is taking credit for penning songs that he didn’t even put pen and paper to. Preston Marshall and Demario Driver are suing The Dream, Mariah Carey and Island Def Jam for copyright infringement and want them to hand over $450,000 in damages. These guys claim they penned Mariah and The Dream’s duet “My Love”–meaning The Dream had absolutely nothing to do with it. Apparently, their track was jacked after they emailed it to music executive Jeff Huffman back in 2008, and realized it was on The Dream’s “Love vs. Money” album a year later.

“I sent the song to (Huffman) via email. I never hea rd back from him. (After hearing the song on The-Dream’s album ) I was hurt because you put a lot of time and effort into this. You know, music is my life. I feed my family this way”, explains Marshall.

It’s quite hilarious that a while back The Dream spoke about penning the track he claimed he wrote the lyrics with Mariah in mind. Yeah right!

The Dream should hit up Beyonce for some advice ’cause she’s an expert at taking credit for sh*t.

Don’t expect Nas and Kelis to kiss and make up–ever!  Apparently, Kelis doesn’t ever want to give Nas another taste of her milkshake! According to TMZ, the singer has filed papers asking the court to speed up their divorce. In court documents filed last week, Kelis said, “it would be in the best interest of both of us if our marital status is terminated as soon as possible”. Apparently, Kelis is worried that legal proceedings will take years to figure out, so she’s asking the judge give her a divorce ASAP and to deal with “all other issues” later. Looks like there really isn’t a chance for these two ’cause Kelis is really “over” Nas. She stated,

“I believe there is no possibility of reconciliation with [Nas].”

Damn…Nas got Kelis begging for a divorce! He must have really did her dirty ’cause this is turning into one messy a$$ divorce. R. Kelly said it best, “When a woman’s fed up, it ain’t nothing you can do about it”.

While the world may be going gaga for Lady Gaga, legend Grace Jones isn’t a fan of the pop star. When asked how she felt about the singer, she told UK’s Guardian newspaper,

“I really don’t think of her at all. I go about my business. Adding, “Well, you know, I’ve seen some things she’s worn that I’ve worn, and that does kind of piss me off,”

Apparently, Lady Gaga desperately wanted to collaborate with Miss Jones—but she turned her down with the quickness.

“Yes, she did, but I said no,” Grace said. “I’d just prefer to work with someone who is more original and someone who is not copying me, actually.”

Grace kept it real funky, but I wonder how she feels about Rihanna? And Akon is a dummy if he thinks Lady Gaga’s swag is original ’cause it’s pretty evident where she gets her inspiration from. Need a reminder?…

Looks like Akon is accusing singer Christina Aguilera of swagger jackin’! The Konvict seems to think that Lady Gaga has every chick in the game shook that they’re all trying to bite her style including Miss Aguilera. He tells Vibe magazine,

“Christina shouldn’t have anything to prove or anyone to compete with. I miss the old Christina Aguilera. I like the old one better than the new one. Honestly, Gaga and Christina could probably get together and do something that’s amazing. But that’s impossible if they are both trying to do the same exact thing musically.

And Akon is convinced Christina can’t knock Lady Gaga out of the game. He adds,

“Aw man, that’s not even any competition. You are actually giving Christina too much credit. She always had her cool little look and way about how she went about things. But soon as Gaga came out, everything switched up. Christina stepped out of her own shell to become something different. And the crazy thing is Christina is really talented. She has unlimited range when it comes to singing. Her voice is out of here. “I think sometimes she gets insecure because of all of the success Gaga has had, not realizing that she was already successful before Gaga came out.”

I can’t knock Lady GaGa’s movement, but she straight up jacked Madonna’s style. So Akon needs to #sithisassdown ’cause Lady GaGa ain’t original her damn self.

Looks like Shaunie done pissed Shaq off! Apparently Shaquille O’Neal is giving VH1 two options, cancel her new reality series “Basketball Wives” or get sued. The show premiered last week and word is the second episode is going to be really juicy since its expected to focus on her tumultuous relationship with the NBA player. Shaq’s lawyer Michael J. Klump claims Shaunie is violating their confidentiality agreement if she reveals any private details about Shaq on the show. VH1 has by the close of business today to respond and so far they haven’t. A new episode of “Basketball Wives” is scheduled to air Sunday, April 18th. Guess we’ll just have to wait till then to find out if VH1 gives in to Shaq’s request.

Shaq is just trippin’ ’cause Shaunie might expose his cheating his a$$! I caught the show last Sunday and I must say I will be tuning in again this Sunday. But, something tells me it’s gonna end up being like the Real Housewives of Atlanta. How the hell you gonna name a show “Basketball Wives” and none of these bishes have a ring on their finger!

R&B singer Fantasia recently hit up Krush Night club in her hometown of North Carolina to only make an appearance and sign a few autographs for her fans, but come to the find out the club promoter had something else in mind. Word is when dude spotted her chillin’ in the VIP area he pressed her about it–asking why she her a$$ wasn’t on stage performing.  According to Bossip, when Fanny told him that she wasn’t being paid to sing that’s when all hell broke loose! Apparently, the promoter wasn’t too happy with her response and threw a chair at her a$$. Eventually, security came through and broke up the fiasco.

Guess Fanny’s brother was right…she sure has changed since her American Idol days. Fanny could’ve at least hummed a lil’ something, something.

Diva Mariah Carey and Wyclef Jean are being honored for their humanitarianism. In memory of the late Dr. Martin Luther King, the two will be handed the the Keepers of the Dream trophy at the National Action Network fundraiser on Thursday, April 15^th for their civil rights work. Reverend with a perm Al Sharpton serves as the organization’s President will host the ceremony at NYC’s luxurious Sheraton Hotel. Among the guests, Bill Cosby will also be on deck to make a speech about the issues in education.
