DR. DRE PLANS TO “DETOX” IN 2010…

Dr. Dre fans will have to wait just a lil’ bit longer for the release of his highly-anticipated comeback album Detox to hit store shelves. The Hip-hop veteran has been working on the album for 10 years and had previously promised fans that it would drop by the end of this year, however he’s still not happy with the project and has pushed back its release date to 2010. Dre wants the album to be perfect and pushing back its release will give him more time to make sure that it is. He tells ABC News,

“I’ve been working on (Detox) for the last 10 years. Hopefully I’ll get it done at the end of this year and we can hear it next year.”

I know Dre wants it to be perfect, but does it really take 10 years to work on a damn album?!
