According to Panachereport and their “Black Celebrity Worth” segment, Jay-Z and Beyonce are on the their way to becoming the first black billionaire power couple in the entertainment biz.

Beyonce made $85 million last year and Jay-Z’s wealth fluctuates between $400-$500 million (on a career basis). Beyonce’s career earnings (nearly $300 million) are on par with Mariah Carey.

This is impressive for Beyonce because Mariah makes the lion’s share of her money from songwriting and publishing and Beyonce doesn’t.

Damn, they handle their money so well. Investing it art, real estate, and other lucrative businesses…unlike most entertainers spending their money on whips and chains. This pair got that owner mentality…that’s what’s up!
