JAY-Z GETS DISSED AT NY RESTURANT!


Apparently Jay-Z’s fame and stardom is fading, he even gets no love from his own business partner, Mario “Fanta Pants” Batali at the opening of his own new resturant Babbo. “Fanta Pants” by the way also co-owns the Spotted Pig with Jay-Z. Even Jay-Z doesn’t get the A-List treatment at all-times.


A source spotted Jay-Z, who, like Batali, is a part-owner of the Spotted Pig, “waiting 20 minutes for a table at Babbo,” the culi nary heavyweight’s most famous and popular eat ery. The tipster told us, “Jay was really polite, and waited patiently at the bar, but they sat him and his group in the front, next to the window, not even in the dining room.” A rep for the hip-hop mogul declined to comment. I was there that night and while the rest of us have to wait an hour for a table, JayZ and his crew were quickly sat, their space was cordoned off for a “private party” and the wait staff pretty-much ignored other customers (6 waiters and bus-boys brought their mains and we waited a half hour after being seated to order). I hear such behaviour is par for the course at Babbo. Was all pretty pathetic to be honest.
