Newlyweds, The Carters, attended last night’s Children Benefit Fall Gala at Cipriani’s 42nd Street in NYC. Jay-Z is really starting to tick me off with those damn shades…you’re at a gala not the 40/40 club, please leave the stunna shades at home. Meanwhile, Beyonce rocked a Roland Muret dress (most recently worn by JLo). But what’s with those shoes and the over-accesorizing?! Have we not learned that less is more?

Among the power couple, others in attendance include Gayle King, Joy Bryant, Toccara, Kevin Liles, Lupe Fiasco, DJ D-Nice & wife Malinda Williams, and many others.

Though many couples attended the gala, Rachel Roy was minus her plus 1, hubby Damon Dash. Surely he’s busy prepping his case against his ex for kidnapping their son, Damon II aka “Boogie”. But picture it for a second, Damon Dash and Jay-Z in the same room…AWKWARD!
