After working so diligently with 50 cent on his new album, LL Cool J decided to just scrap an entire album of tracks produced Fifty because he didn’t want his new release, Exit 13 to sound like he was biting the Gorilla. The two hit up the studio last year to work on beats and rhymes, but after months of working on a couple tracks with Fifty, LL took only take the best cuts and decided to go solo. He says,

“I’m not releasing the album he and I were working on. I took a few songs for (new album) Exit 13 and scrapped the rest. That’s due to the fact that I don’t think people want to hear me rhyming like 50”.

Well, ya can’t even be mad at the G.O.A.T. for not wanting to appear like he’s jockin’ the Gorilla’s flow. Hold up, is LL still even considered the G.O.A.T.?!

Moving along to more relevant news. After performing their show-stopping duet of Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell’s Motown hit “Ain’t Nothing Like the Real Thing” at the Fashion Rocks concert in New York last Friday night, the Blue Eyed Soul Brother (not Robin Thicke…the other brother) and Ms. Bootylicious are hitting up the studio to lay down some new tracks together. Hmm…now that should be an interesting collabo. Anywhoo, Justin Timberlake reveals,

“I’ll be in the studio this week with Beyonce. Who knows what will come out of that”.

I wonder what will come out of that too…hopefully a hit single!

In other Beyaki news, her upcoming album is set to drop on November 18th and her new song will be titled “I’m Just A Boy” …uhh I don’t know what that’s all about. Apparently, the video will be shot next week… so expect to see Be work her dereon on a screen near you!
