Looks like Remy won’t be seeing the light of day for a minute. The verdict just came in and the rapper has been convicted on four major charges — first-degree assault, attempted coercion, possession of a deadly weapon, and felony assault. WOW! SOHH was down at the courthouse as it went down…

As the door closed, she could be heard crying out, “Oh my God,” and a femail officer rushed to calm her down.

Remy’s brother hollered out, “This is bullsh*t,” as the verdict was being read. He was also escorted out of the court room. Remy’s stylist cried.

Though she was not found guilty of coercion and tampering, Makeda Barnes-Joseph and her supporters jumped for joy.

“We are very disappointed with the jury’s verdict,” Fisher told SOHH. Remy wasn’t ready for this. We plan to appeal all of the assault related charges.” Remy didn’t expect this,” Fisher continued. “She didn’t tell her 8-year-old son, who she left this morning [she would not be returning home].”
“They all lied,” Remy’s brother told SOHH in an outrage outside of the Manhattan court building. “They lied to the police and they lied on the stand,” he added as he told a reporter to stop snapping photos.

A sentence date has not been determined but the rapper faces up a minimnum of 5 to 25 years in prison. So much for her celebrity. That Makeda chick better move outta NYC, best believe Remy will be coming for her ass. On that note, with all the rap mistresses either in jail or living the hollywood high life, all we got left is Lil’ MaMa and Trina riding hard…and that’s not a good look. Where my ladies at?! Stay strong Remy…
