IN CASE U MISSED IT: VH1′S “FANTASIA: FOR REAL”

So last night I caught the first episode of VH1’s “Fantasia: For Real” and within the first 2 minutes I already had a mouthful of negative comments. However aside from her mooching unemployed 28 year-old brother, “Teeny”, and all the grammatically incorrect English language…I have to admit this appears to be a good show in the making. American Idol winner, Fantasia, is trying desperately to regain her career and spotlight status not to mention feed six mouths with one income. Yet some of her family members are hindering her success, mostly in the financial term. I’m all for helping out the family, but damn having people living pulling at you left and right for money…just ain’t right. Sometimes your own family can be your worst enemy. Seriously, if she continues down this road of supporting her entire family, she’s gonna wind up MC Hammer Status…remember when he had his entire ‘hood on payroll, yeah…NOT SMART! I’m a huge advocate of this moto: “Give a man a fish; you have fed him for today. Teach a man to fish; and you have fed him for a lifetime.” Overall I’ll totally tune into the next episodes of “Fantisia: For Real”.
