Beyonce took the streets of New York City by storm yesterday while on her way to a taping of “The Late Show with David Letterman” at the Ed Sullivan Theater.

In other related Bey news, the “diva” wants fans to lend a helping hand in fighting hunger in the United States. She’s teamed up with General Mills’ Show Your Helping Hand hunger relief campaign to co-sponsor a food drive when she takes the stage beginning June 21st for her “I Am…” world tour in the states. The songstress is asking fans to bring non-perishable food items or to donate money when they attend her show. She says,

“Our goal is to donate 3.5 million meals to local food banks”.
