50 CENT READY TO RETIRE?!

Fifty Cent is thinking about going into retirement insisting that his upcoming album Before I Self Destruct will probably be his last. However, he admits that the only thing that will allow him to stay in the game a lil’ bit longer is his age because Jay-Z is getting old and a lot more comfortable. He tells XXL,

“It (next album) could very well be my last studio album if it doesn’t make sense for me to continue and actually do it.”


However, he doesn’t expect Jay-Z to be rapping in his old age. He says,

“I believe that I will have a stronger position as we move forward. What I have on my side is age. In the next five years, they’ll (top rappers) be 45 and 44 years old and I’ll just be close to where they are now.”

And he doesn’t expect Jay-Z to be the king of rap for much longer:

“He’s married, he’s getting ready to be 40. He’s in a different place, he might not even want to run around, and even touring might be out of the question”.


Fifty should’ve thrown in the towel after he dropped his first album Get Rich or Die Tryin’ ,  ’cause all of his work since his debut has been TRASH!

LexAve: His music has been pretty much predictable but the game ain’t ready to lose such an entertaining character.

  • yes, of course Jigga is married but for how long is the question? As soon as beyonce took all his swagger, money, power and friends she will leave. She’s using him..there will be no kids. Jay is getting 40 years old this year. if beyonce wouldn’t be so selfish and would she really love him, don’t ya think she would by pregnant now?
    She toured back in 07 and now in 09 she makes another tour..hell nah, she doesn’t love Jay-z. that’s all for publicity!!

  • For what possible reason would Beyonce’ have to marry J-Z just to use him? She was already RICH when they met. She sings & acts, okay not very well, but she gets paid for it. Jay is almost 40, Beyonce’ is still in her 20’s. There’s still plenty of time for them to make babies.
