BET HIP HOP AWARDS WINS WITH “THE CHYPHER”…


BET Hip Hop Awards went down last night, they tried and they failed miserably. From the Weezy takeover to the Shawty Lo win and over saturated Obama shout outs, it was a cringing experience. The only thing BET gets props for is the cypher sessions right after the commericial breaks. Definitely a good move…bringing the true essence of hip hop back. Overall the BET Hip Hop Awards gets a C+, the plus for effort.

As for the cipher…who’s rhymes killed it?!

SideBar: BET really needs to make these award shows more interactive and stop with the lame crowd in the audience. Get more fans in the audience to get the show live, think MTV.

  • I thought I was the only one…EVERYONE was shouting out Obama… i’m thinkin’ hope these nigg@s dont cost him the election…it was too much Obama… I am a n african american Obama supporter too but that was too much….The cypher was madd ill.. GUNZ killed it for a rookie and Jada repped for the big boys.
