NELLY DECLARES ASHANTI HIS GOOD GOOD

Check out a recent quote from Nelly on his relationship with the former Princess of R&B, Ashanti. A while back the songstress spoke of her relationship with the St. Louis rapper and insisted that they were just “really, really good friends”. Yeah right! We weren’t buying it then and we’re definitely not buying it now. Well, according to Nelly if you’re not blind then you should obviously be able to see that they’re more than just good ole’ buddies. When asked why it took him so long to feature Ashanti on one of his albums and why he has yet to declare what she really is to him, he had this to say:

“It was never business for me and her. In order for us to have the relationship we have, you got to keep that separate. You got to let it happen when it happens and not force it. It’s not about declaring. Declaring to who? Everyone wants to know, to be in the mix. But if you’re not blind, I’m sure you can see.”

Who did Ashanti think she was fooling with that “we’re just friends” crap?! Real talk, can we get the meaning of friendship back?!
Though his music might be taking a backseat but Nelly’s got other plans in mind…even if it means selling the beef. Peep pic below of the rapper turned model putting a show out in Florida yesterday.
