Maxim is being accused of prematurely reviewing Nas’ upcoming album entitled “Nigger”. The album was given a 2.5 star rating, even though the reviewer openly admitted to just hearing two tracks on the album. In an interview with the NYPost, Nas got on Maxim for reviewing his album while he’s still in the process of recording it. Here’s what he had to say:
“I’m finishing the album now and it will be out April 22. I’d prefer (a review from) Playboy. That kind of stuff doesn’t reach my radar or effect anybody around me. I don’t know what a music rating from Maxim is. I don’t know what it even means really.”
And all this time I thought Maxim was strictly half-naked white chicks. It’s evident that Nas has had to deal with a lot of negativity since he leaked the title of his album. Aside from the controversial issues which surround the album, I just want to know how can an album be rated if the damn thing aint’ even completed??? I swear, this album better live up to all this hype…
