After being labeled a one-hit wonder and even being discredited by rappers such as Ice-T, Snoop Dogg and Method Man, rapper Soulja Boy insists that no one should judge him. According to the ‘youngsta, he doesn’t allow his haters to get to him ‘cause he realizes how blessed he is.

“I feel nobody should judge another person, but I don’t let it affect me. I look at the position I’m in and where I could be, and [the criticism] is the last thing on my mind. I could still be in the ‘hood with no money working at Burger King, or I could be in jail or dead. I thank God every day.”

If he were to prove himself as a real artist and put an end to his coonery antics maybe the media wouldn’t be so hard on his ass!

He didn’t give me his number, he just expected me to hit him on twitter, since he be on it all the time. So I did, it was around 2:30am when I signed on to twitter me and my cousin just got in from rollin around gettin into sh*t. I sent him a DM at exactly 2:45am and got a reply from him at 3:15, asking me to take a cab to where he was staying. So I obliged.”

Rapper Soulja Boy really thinks he’s talented. According to the young’n he’s not worried about competition because for some reason he believes that no other rapper is on his level. He tells MTV,

Mr. Turn My Swag On aka Soulja Boy has worked with almost everyone in the industry except for three major players. Currently working on his new album The DeAndre Way, Soulja Boy already has in mind who he wants to recruit. According to the young’n, he hopes to work with Lil Wayne, Jay-Z and Kanye West. He says,

“I done worked with everybody that I wanna work with so far. But going into my third album, I already got Lil Wayne on deck. I just hollered at Kanye when I was in Calif. working with Snoop Dogg. Me and Kanye, it’s just an honor to work with him. He done been in the game so many years even for him to be under Jay-Z. And if I get a chance to work with Jay-Z and Kanye that’d be crazy, way out on another level.”

It’s quite obvious that Jay-Z doesn’t want to work with this fool ’cause he cares too much about his career!

After being robbed at gunpoint back in December, rapper Soulja Boy is paranoid and fears for his life. The traumatic experience has forced him to keep a glock on deck at all times and his bodyguard are always strapped now. He tells PopEater,

“It made me change precautions in my security now. I keep a pistol in every room now. My bodyguards stay strapped now”.

According to Soulja Boy, fans will be able to find out more about what occurred that fateful December night on his forthcoming album The DeAndre Way. He adds,

“My third album goes real deep. I’ll go more in depth with what went on in the house that night on this album”.
