He is set to release his debut album later this year, and has created quite a buzz for himself covering both The Source and Beyond Race magazines, as well as being featured as one of XXL’s 2010 Freshmen. Cole appeared on Jay-Z’s “A Star is Born” off of the “Blueprint 3″ album, and is also featured on labelmate Wale’s debut album, “Attention Deficit”.

Last night, “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” hitmaker Cyndi Lauper, Kelly Rowland and Estelle took the stage at amfAR’s Inspiration Gala at the New York Public Library. Judging from the pics it seems like they put on a great show. I’m trying to figure out where Cyndi fits in the mix.

On Wednesday night, Diddy celebrated the release of his “Diddybeats” headphones at the W hotel in NYC with a few friends including business partner Dr. Dre, comedian Tracy Morgan, Interscope Records exec Jimmy Iovine and a few other folks. However, we couldn’t help but notice that Diddy’s PYT Cassie was M.I.A. While Cassie was probably off somewhere trying to find another way to revive her career, another chick was throwing the booty at her man…literally! Don’t believe us? Peep the pic below…

Either Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger had a bit too much Ciroc in her system or her and Diddy have a lil’ thing going on. Honestly, it’s actually quite possible that they’re messing around–they do have history together as they collaborated on Diddy’s track “Come to Me” off his 2006 release “Press Play”.  Nicole was definitely backing it up on Diddy and by the look on his face–his horny a$$ enjoyed it! Yesterday, Diddy took over Best Buy’s Union Square location in NYC to introduce the world to his latest venture “Diddybeats” headphones. The rap mogul’s “Diddybeats”  is another installment of Dr. Dre’s popular “Beats by Dre” imprint. AllHipHop caught up with Diddy at the launch event to find out just how involved he was in the development of “Diddybeats”.

“It was a true partnership between (Dr.) Dre and I. He took care of the sound part of it; I took care of the fashion part of it. I wanted to make them look as fly as Ferraris, Private Jets, Yachts. I also wanted to come with the colors; powdered pink, white and the sleek black that goes perfectly with the iPad”, said Diddy.

After being out of the spotlight for a hot minute, the Louis Vuitton Don is ready to make a comeback. The rapper finally came out of hiding this past weekend in NYC. According to the NY Daily News, Kanye hit up hotspot CV in the Lower East Side on Saturday night with his entourage in tow sans his bald headed wifey Amber Rose. Word is ‘Ye even gave party-goers a sneak peek of his new album–giving the DJ four tracks to spin.

“Josh Hartnett and Kid Cudi were both there, and they immediately got up and started dancing,” said a snitch. “Kanye stayed with his own entourage in a corner booth, but looked pretty pleased.”

Last night, Hollyhood’s finest including Ciara and Kanye West’s bald-headed boo Amber Rose attended Maxim’s 11th Annual “Hot 100″ bash at Paramount Studios in LA. While CiCi’s stylist finally did her a$$ some justice with a chic all-white ensemble,  Miss Rose’s tata’s were poppin’ out all over the place…as you can tell I’m definitely not feeling the get-up.

Last week in Detroit during the Tigers vs. Yankees game, rappers Jay-Z and Eminem announced that they will be collaborating once again. The two rappers are set to perform together in September in New York City and Detroit, which happens to be their hometowns. On September 2nd, Eminem will headline a show at Detroit’s Comerica Park, while on September 13th Jay-Z will christen the new Yankee stadium.

“I’ve always hoped that hip-hop could play any stadium like other genres of music,” said Jay-Z. “Fun and historic, a great combination all around the board.”

Jay-Z wasn’t lying when he said he “made the Yankee hat more famous than a Yankee can”.

Tyra Banks’ neighbors definitely know her name not because she’s the reigning queen of reality TV, but rather because she makes too much noise! According to PageSix, last year the former supermodel copped four apartments in NYC for $10 million–which she’s currently renovating to combine them all into a single home. Word is her neighbors are pissed off about all the noise—so much so that they called 5-0 on her ass.

On Friday, the papz spotted Hip-hop’s royal couple Jay-Z and Beyonce along with MaMa Carter sitting comfortably in Alex Rodriguez’s personal box at Yankees stadium to watch the Yankees play the Minnesota Twins. Jay must be the Yankees lucky charm…needless to say they beat the Twins that night.
