There’s no denying that 2009 has been a very eventful year for Hollyhood. From break-ups to beatdowns, we’ve created a list of the most juiciest moments in Hollyhood.

Good Girl Gone Bad Rihanna and Chris Brown admitted they were more than just “good friends”. Unfortunately, before the year ended their puppy love came to a screeching halt when Chris whooped her ass the night before the Grammy Awards in L.A.

Kanye West stole country singer Taylor Swift’s shine at this year’s VMA’s uttering the infamous line, “I’mma let you finish but, Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time!” The cocky and arrogant rapper received a lot of media backlash and eventually went into hiding.

Just when we thought security would’ve gotten the memo to beef things up a bit, out comes Lil Mama who hops on stage and crashes Jay-Z and Alicia Key’s set of “Empire State of Mind”.

Beanie Sigel came out of no where and launched an attack on Jay-Z with diss record “What You Talkin’ About (Average Cat)” and eventually teamed up with 50 Cent for another diss record titled “I Go Off”.

Kanye replaced ex-girlfriend Alexis Phifer with bald headed video vixen Amber Rose who quickly became an instant celebrity. Amber went from working the pole for cash to red carpet events, shopping sprees and even front row seats at Fashion Week.

We found out Rick Ross used to be a CO. Officer Ricky started beef with 50 Cent to sell records and 50 took the meaning of the word “beef” to a wholenotha level by taking Ricky’s babymama shopping and hooking her up with a book deal.

Usher finally cut Tameka Foster’s cougar ass and signed those “Papers”. Poor Tameka found out about the divorce on  the internet. A few months later, Tameka expressed how she really felt about Usher’s ass and keyed up his whip.

Lil Wayne was really on a mission to f*ck every girl in the world. The rapper knocked up three broads in less than a year–an uknown Asian chick, actress Lauren London and The Dream’s ex-wife Nivea.

Cassie’s pierced A cups and vajayjay were on display via the World Wide Web. That very same week Rihanna’s pierced chi-chis knocked her ass out of the spotlight. Unfortunately for Cassie, the naked flicks didn’t help her sell any records.

Swizz Beatz’ wife Mashonda aired out Alicia Keys for stealing her husband. We found out that Miss “Superwoman” is more than just a Grammy-Award winning singer…she’s actually a homewrecker too!

Hip-Hop’s royal couple, no not Jay-Z and Beyonce but rather Nas and Kelis called it quits citing “irreconcilable differences”. Kelis took Nas to court claiming she was broke and needed him to hit her off with some spousal support, pay her legal fees, and among other things drop $20,000 on baby Knight’s stroller, crib and other baby supplies. A judge sided with the “Milkshake” singer and ordered Nas to pay her $44,000 a month in child support.

“It’s a well written letter, but who is Mashonda trying to reach here. Something tells me the fans and not Alicia Keys. I find it extremely hard to believe Mashonda hasn’t been able to reach Alicia Keys in the last two years. We (public) have no idea what went on behind close doors inside the marriage of Swizz and Mashonda. What is Mashonda trying to say with this letter… that “she’s hurt,” that “it’s Alicia’s fault,” that “it’s Swizz’s fault.” I just don’t understand the reason for the letter and not to mention two years later. Why now? This is only one side of the story. Yes, it’s unfortunate their marriage is over… but we don’t know the full story. Who are we to label Alicia Keys a “homewrecker,” Swizz Beats as “grimey,” Mashonda as “the victim.” We’ve never heard of any mess like this going on in either Alicia or Swizz’s past, so how are we to pass judgement on the situation when we don’t know the facts.

This all seems a little publicity stunt on Mashonda’s part to try to turn Alicia Keys’ fans against her, as well as Swizz Beatz’s and gain more fans on her side. At this point, I want to hear from Swizz Beatz, I want to hear from Alicia Keys. And call me a hater, but I doubt Mashonda even penned this letter herself, sounds like a good editing job by her PR rep. If she really wanted to discuss the issue, rather than putting her dirty laundry out there for all to read, why not handle it in private (a la Jay-Z and Beyonce). I’m not taking sides here, but the story just doesn’t add up, we need more information. In a court of law, “you’re innocent until proven guilty” but in this case both Alicia and Swizz are “guilty until proven innocent.” Let’s stop pointing fingers and learn the facts. That’s all I’m saying…”

Last Friday (September 25^th), HoneyMag.com celebrated the “Changing of the Guard” at Collective Hardware in NYC. The festive event commemorated the introduction of New York’s trendsetters and tastemakers to the new faces behind the new Honey. Fab guests included video director Va$htie, Donnie Klang, celebrity hair stylist Ursula Stephen, Mashonda, Dee Vasquez and many more. Honey definitely knows how to throw a party as the event featured custom studding, hair cut remixes, balloon animals as well as an abundance of bubbly.

Swizz Beatz’ soon-to-be ex-wife Mashonda is not letting Alicia Keys off the hook just yet for creepin’ with her hubby. Apparently, after two years of trying to reach out to Alicia to get an explanation or even a simple apology, Mashonda decided to write her trifling ass a letter. So what’s Alicia’s excuse for hookin’ up with a married man?! She definitely can’t say that she had no idea Swizz was married with a child ’cause in reality who didn’t know that Mashonda was his wifey? What makes it worse is that Alicia and Swizz tried to play the public by denying Mashonda’s allegations, thus making her look crazy. And now that their secret is out, it’s apparent that these two lovebirds have no problem putting their relationship out on public display; which if ya ask me is straight up disrespectful. Peep the excerpt below from Mashonda’s open letter to Alicia.

After having a great evening with my son and enjoying some fun twit chat, I decided to sign off and get some work done. However, a few hours later I was advised that I should check @aliciakeys twit page (twitter). I’ve never reached out to her on twitter before. I feel our issues are a lot more serious than a website conversation. Not to mention that I’ve reached out to her many times in the beginning of this whole thing, as any wife would do. Unfortunately, I never succeeded in getting a response. The 1st time I met AK, my husband introduced us to each other at an event. (I have no choice but to call him my husband, until he is not anymore) In the messages that I sent to her (AK), I made it very clear that on the contrary of what she might be hearing, I am still married to my husband, living with him and just had a child. It’s been two years and I still have not received a response. What I do receive, is contant displays of selfishness and disconcern to me and my son.

I was a fan of AK’s last album, we were both signed to J Records and I have always checked up on her projects. I sang her songs and admired her for creating Superwoman and Karma, I would never deny her, her talent. I believed in her until I found out she was possibly sleeping with my husband. The affair was denied by both, until it was finally admitted months later.

Already I can hear some of you saying ” why are u blaming her, You cant make someone leave their wife, You cant break something thats broken”. Well, my marriage was not broken, as far as I knew we were celebrating our sons birth and getting ready to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary . Call it blind love, whatever. I call it being a devoted wife.. As far as me blaming her and not blaming him, thats false. Me and my husband have worked out our differences. We are in a good place as people and as parents. I accept his choices and I am comfortable enough with myself to move on. I am so very blessed in many ways.

My concern with AK is no longer the fact that she assisted in destroying a family but that she has the audacity to make these selfish comments about love and wanting to be with someone, even after knowing their situation. How is this the same Superwoman that I sang out loud with in my truck? I ask myself sometimes.
