The BET Hip Hop Awards went down earlier this week, aside from its usual performances, BET made sure to include those freestyle cyphers that started last year. Realtalk, that’s the best part of the awards show. They should really consider incorporating more cyphers into their programming…bring the real essence of hip hop back. Check out the G.O.O.D music crew spitting some bars off the dome. That Rosewood look might become a trend in 2011, thanks to Mr. West. I see the whole G.O.O.D. camp is in the building…but ummmm, where’s Consequence?! What’s beef?!

Despite being nominated for nine BET Hip Hop Awards including “Best Live Performer”, Kanye was MIA. Too bad he doesn’t think off BET as mainstream enough to feed his ego..
