“I heard ‘Black & Yellow’ on the radio and I just started playing around with the words after I had seen some sh*t on TV with Amber Rose telling somebody to open her door like she was worth something. 2. “Not looking for someone to take care of them”- I don’t know the statistics on White men vs. Black men coming from more stable family structures…but from my personal experience most of the black men I’ve dating were constantly looking for a chick to care of them. Guess that explains why I’m no longer with them.

3. “Attend and graduate from college”- Well this I agree with…White men are more likely to be college educated than black men. I’m not sure if the same can be said for Latino men, since Latinos are attending and graduating college at a higher rate than before. Not to mention this new statistics about black males doing worse than bad in the education system is just horrible news.

4. “At least attempt to marry before making babies”- I disagree with this reason. Just because it’s noticed that White men don’t have children sprinkled all the over the place, doesn’t mean they didn’t impregnate a chick. There’s a little thing called abortion.

5. “They don’t glamourize ignorance”- The Madame Noire article states: “They may listen to rap music, but they are smart enough not to act it out. The “thug life” is not something to be aspired. White men have a firmer grasp on what really defines manhood.” But ignorance doesn’t just lie within rap music. There are other forms of ignorance that some white men adhere to. Not agreeing with this claim as it’s just too general of a statement.

6. “Financial planning and stability”- I totally agree with this one. White men or rather white culture are just more educated in spending their money. Rather than looking to “Floss” like most men in the black and latino community…white men are just far more interested in being wealthy than appearing wealthy. There’s a big difference.

7. “Have the ability to look beyond your past”- Another general statement. This has nothing to do with race but rather the individual itself. Claiming that white men have no problem turning a “hoe into a house wife” is just dead wrong. How do you explain these rappers wifin’ up “former” strippers? C’mon…this has nothing to do with race.

8. “Don’t take everything as a challenge to their masculinity”- I couldn’t disagree more. Whether black, white, latino…men who feel insecure or intimated by strong educated women (black, white, latina) has more to do with their own lack of self esteem and own personal weakness. Some men are just aren’t strong enough to handle a strong woman and that’s their loss. #REALTALK

Looks like Common really missed Serena’s bubbly ass, so much so that the two are rumored to be dating again.  The tennis star and rapper/actor were spotted getting real cozy at the Shore Club hotel in Miami. Yep, fancy! Snitches tell Life & Style,

St. Lunatic Nelly is back with a blazing new track “Just A Dream” and is prepping the release of his new album 5.0. Complex magazine recently caught up with the Midwest rapper to talk about a few things including his on-and-off again relationship with Ashanti. This summer, Nelly and Ashanti were spotted at T.I. and Tiny’s wedding holding hands which set off speculation that the two were back on again. Well, according to Nelly he’s focused on his career right now and Ashanti’s focused on handling her business as well.

Complex: Yeah. This kind of goes along with that. I don’t know what your relationship with Ashanti is like or what led to an alleged breakup, but then the gossip sites will say you said that you’re back together and have pictures of you two holding hands at T.I. and Tiny’s wedding. Is it an on-and-off situation because you’re not good at cutting people if they don’t hurt you, personally?

Nelly: We never admitted that we were together or back together or separated, but we heard that. Only thing we ever said was we friends and it’s the same way now. I’m focused on 5.0. I got an album coming out on November 16th, she’s working on her project right now.

Complex: But are there things that happened in the relationship that have gotten you to a point where you’re not going to be dealing with her in the same capacity?

Nelly: It’s not like that. My ultimate goal and our ultimate goal is to be individuals, to sustain what we been able to sustain. You wanna make sure that when you get into a time and place that you’re able to do what you need to do, and right now, that’s my album. You don’t want to be into a situation where you do an hour-long interview and 45 minutes is based on something and you’re like, “Yo, what about this?” And that’s something that we’ve been able to maintain. Like, whatever becomes of our relationship. Whatever, whenever, or however, that’s going to be something that we’re going to do and we’re going to judge. It’s not going to be manipulated by outside people looking in, who don’t even know what the fuck is going on. I think that the only way you can maintain that is to just do what you do. I have to be Nelly. She got to be Ashanti.

If these two want to be like Jay-Z and Beyonce and keep their relationship a mystery…well good for them. But, there can only be one Jay and B! I’m pretty sure Nelly is still tapping that anyway…

Matt Kemp likes Rihanna so much that homeboy wants to put a ring on it! Although, the couple have been dating for only eight months, word is Matt really wants to wife Rihanna up. Snitches close to Matt and Raggedy Ann Rihanna ran their mouths to Us Weekly.

“They are in love,” says a snitch. “Seeing them interact, it’s definitely possible he could propose — but it’d have to be a long engagement, because they’re both so focused on their careers.”

Meanwhile, a snitch close to RiRi dishes,

“He centers her, as he has a more normal life. He allows her space, but they text and talk all the time. And they really have fun like kids when they’re together. They like to laugh and be silly.”

Rihanna is too young to be settling down…don’t you agree?

In the latest issue of People magazine, Usher admits what we already knew–his marriage to cougar Tameka Foster just wasn’t going to work.

“I appreciate the relationship for what it was,” he says. “Even though it didn’t work out, I’m glad we got together. I love her as the mother of my children; we just couldn’t be married.”

So what happened? Well, according to the R&B singer they fought over everything from parenting to his hectic schedule.

“We’re two different people,” he says, “and we have two different goals. It just was never going to work out 100 percent.”

She adds:

“There are people who love and support me and just want to see me keep going and who’ve been through the same thing… and I said, ‘You know what, there’s no perfect person’. I’m just thankful for all the doctors who were there for me because they didn’t treat me like Fantasia, they treated me like ‘Tasia, and I needed that.”
