Earlier this week I chopped it up with one of my closest friends about politics, global warming and yes, Drake’s supposed new girlfriend, who’s a STRIPPER! Now for the record I don’t have anything against strippers, seriously. I don’t even have anything against the strippers that do more in the private room for a little extra cash. Although, if your gonna actually have sex with a stranger for money you should either do porn or pull an Ashley Dupré- (see former NY Governor Elliot Spitzer’s high-end prostitute chick). My rationale being, make the most out of prostitution. No one should turn tricks for less than market value, right? But I digress…back to the topic at hand- Drake’s dating a stripper! I suspect that it’s not true, but what is up with all of these rappers wifein’ strippers? Ever since Amber Rose (who I love and is uber fly!) every rapper is running to the nearest Gentleman’s Club and yanking out the first stripper in clear heels. Stripping is becoming the newest trend next to crazy shoulder pads (See Rihanna or Lady Gaga). Even Lady Gaga’s old stripper photos are so called “surfing”. We all know sex sells, but making stripping the new trend, where everybody’s sidepiece is marketed as a stripper is CORNY, period! Corny because it’s not authentic. Corny because everyone is doing it. Not to get all super fem on you, but not to mention its sole purpose is to promote the idea that women are objects and nothing more. Apparently it’s not enough for rappers (and I am stereotyping for effect but I don’t mean all rappers) to find ass injected, breast implanted, weave queens to be sex objects…now they have to be strippers. Do they actually have to be selling sex literally?…

And all time favorite Kanye & Amber…need I say more. The list can go on as for rappers who love strippers. But surprisingly enough the mouth of the south’s own Ludacris opted for a med student instead.
