STR8 TALK: JAY-Z RECRUITS LIL’ KIM, BUT WHAT ABOUT FOXY BROWN?!
The net has been buzzing with talk that the Queen Bee aka Lil Kim is gearing up to make a major comeback with the help of long time homie Jay-Z. According to reports, Jay-Z has officially signed the pint-sized rapstress to Roc Nation and will be executive producing her upcoming album. Although the official announcement has yet to be made, best believe you can expect one shortly from Jigga man himself. Great to see the female emcees are coming in full throttle but…we can’t help and wonder…can Jay-Z really revive what’s left of Lil Kim’s career?! Sure, the game needs her right now…sh*t I’m missing her right now, but does she still have it? I mean if Diddy’s comparing Nicki to the Tiger Woods of Hip-hop as far as female rappers go…can Lil’ Kim compete? Sure the Jay-Z co-sign holds weight in shutting the game down but will fans jump on board? Should Nicki Minaj be worried? And what about Jay’s ex-protege and Lil Kim’s arch rival, Don Diva and BK’s Finest Foxy Brown? A while back, Foxy admitted that she felt her former mentor left her high and dry when she was locked up, I can only imagine how she feels now. *patiently awaits diss record*
Fox will get in that girls ass.. again.. Remember “bang bang” .. Kim ain’t put out a record in like 5 years.. she had to let the hype die down before saying anything cause all people were talkin about was how Foxy went in on her.. That was a crazy moment in time. Even then, Foxy reached out & Kim denied her truce… But i’m curious 2 see what will happen. I really don’t understand why Jay would sign an old rapstres.. he needs young blood for his group.

Jay-Z, the HOV, who ever he is at the time, knows what he is what he is doing. The rappers/rapstress whateva, always mad at some body because of something they did not do for them when they was locked up. Male and Female. Move on/Get over it. Kim needs to let it go too.

the jigga co sign is nice, but its the jigga ghost writing that she needs. hardcore was written by big and you can see the lack of his influence on her following albums. i think she can make a comeback.
