I love mariah carey and always will BUT im also a realist, not a mindlesss stan/fangirl that will follow mimi blindlessly with whatever she does like most “lambs”. everything in this article is TRUE! mariah keeps putting out album after album trying to relive her glory days and lets be honest, her prime is over! every single time one of her albums flop (which these days, is all the time)she hurries up and puts out another one hoping that it will take her back to # 1! mariahs heyday was in the 90s when she was with tommy mottolla. period. ever since shes done things “her way”, things havent been as good. tommy knew that mariahs talent was one of a kind and when she was with him, her voice was at its best, her albums were # 1, she looked her best ect i also cant stand her diva antics. mariah is one of the many celebrities that belives her own hype. when i went to the angels advocate tour, she was soooooooooooooooo diva-ish and it was a complete TURN-OFF! she kept having assistants coming out and putting lipgloss on her, spraying her down with a light mist and fixing her hair. i honestly felt like she was the queen and we, her fans, were the peasants. i went to a britney spears concert right after mariah’s and i hate to say, but brit blew mariah away, not only performance wise, but she was LIKEABLE and not a uppity diva b**ch that acted like she was above everyone else! brit was humble and actually appreciated her fans! i also agree about mc marrying nick cannon. not only is he corny as hell but he was (before marrying mariah anyways) a b or c list celebrity at best!she has definently downgraded with him. its a fact. hes nowhere near her celebrity status. like i said, i love mariah, but there are so many little things that bother me about her now. her attitude is probably the major thing. back in the 90s, when mariah really WAS the #1 chick in music she didnt act like she does now. now thats shes middle aged, past her prime and not selling anywhere near the amount of records that she used to, she’s a total diva! it doesnt make sense. about her obsession with butterflies and hello kitty and other childish things, i actually think that its kind of cute. mariah has a fun-loving personality and youthful spirit. thats just who she is. i like the fact that she doesnt listen to the “age -appropriate” garbage that people spout and just does what feels right to HER instead. shes a girlie-girl and a kid at heart and theres absolutely nothing wrong with that! thats exactly how i wanna be when im older. if people wanna act old, they can act old, but im not gonna be one of them! anyways, i do agree with this article. the first thing mariah needs to do is humble herself. and start making more slow jams, like you said. thats what us mariah fans wanna hear, not rappers! hopefully, mariah can re-invent herself. if not, i dont know whats gonna happen, but i do know it wont be good!

Mariah has so much potential and is still a dominating force in this business. I hope she gets her act together and puts out an amazing album like “The Emancipation of Mimi”, and promotes it properly, not like “Memoirs” which was barely promoted thanks to her Precious role.

No one is saying she’s a has-been…at least not yet. If she keeps following on the path she’s going, she’ll be a “has-been” sooner rather than later. Mariah is indeed top talent but her diva antics and crazy ways are making more news than her music. That’s all..

I’m never tired of Mariah. No one’s talent is as close as hers. She is not a has been and never will be. People who want to say bad things about her feel the need to do so just to make themselves feel better about themselves.
