It’s Grammy weekend out in Los Angeles, CA. Now ya gurl LexAve is a huge Kelis fan and as much as I’m glad to see Kelis back on the scene, I’m definitely not feeling this look! Her new record is rather lackluster…I mean i could probably bring my myself to listen to it at a club while engaging in a lil’ a pill poppin’…BUT that’s not gonna happen. So rather than hitting the studio and working on better material, our girl is relying on her image to do the trick. Except last night at the First Annual Data awards, Kelis looked like a poor man’s version of Lady GaGa. Those shoes scream “Bad Romance” and the hair screeches Lady GaGa on Oprah. Our poor Kelis is desperately looking for attention with this horrendous get-up. Somebody please take her back to closet and fix this HAM!

Granted Kelis is known for her outrageous looks, but ever since she’s been out of the limelight…Lady Gaga is now the reigning queen in that department. I would just like Kelis to reinvent herself with something more fitting her style and not something we already see on heavy rotation on all the music channels.
