My name is Jordan Edmond, 20 years old and currently a fashion merchandising student at Brookdale Community College in New Jersey. After having my daughter last August I went back to school underestimating the challenges of nurturing child, working, and going back to school. I managed to receive the worst grades I have ever received in my life. I dropped two classes and barely passed my other two; having a GPA of only 1.98. But, this semester I was determined to not falter in school due to my current situation. With a lot of hard work I received 3 A’s and 1 B boosting my GPA up to a 3.05. I’ve sacrificed alot to acheive this and would absolutely love to pat myself on the back for a day for staying focused throughout the year and to motivate me to continue on the right track. Thank you for your time and consideration,
Jordan

I pledged DST during my sophomore year in college (2004) and sadly I must admit that I have yet to see a REAL step show with fierce competitors. The ones I’ve been to have had about 2, at most 3, really good step teams and the rest were mediocre at best. I’ve been to Step Correct twice and twice have been disappointed. As a Greek, one would think otherwise. I heard about this competition on the radio and figured this must be the truth. I have a demanding 11 month old and unfortunately by the time I managed to go online to purchase tickets they were sold out. I’ve even asked my fellow Greeks on facebook if they can find tickets. Mindblowing or not, my husband and I love step shows. Pleeeeease consider us for the giveaway!
Thanking you in advance,

You should give me these tickets because doing so would honor the spirit that the competition encourages — my brother can’t step so well since a car accident left him in a wheel chair. Even though his body is bound, his soul longs to dance. Rather than remind him of his limitations, watching others stomp the beat gives him hope and courage to go on with life and to attain great goals in his own way.
I will sit next to this young man I care so deeply about and feel the rhythm make my legs move and feel the rhythm make his mouth turn into a smile, since his legs can’t move. Regardless of its varying physical manifestations, the emotion is the same and we will stand (and sit) in solidarity and say “STEP UP.”
Make this dream come true. Send us to the Sprite Step Off.
Sincerely,
Priscila

I have always been involved with stepping, from my HS cheerleading days to the neighborhood step team. Once I got to college the first thing I did was try out–and was one of the only freshmen allowed on the team!! Shortly after I became pregnant and left the team. Now, years later, my daughter is on the step team at her elementary school and we practice all the time but I really want her to experience stepping for real. I’ve told her countless stories of my friends and I performing and when she heard the commercial for this event she begged me to take her, little did she know I had already planned to. So, today is payday and I’m prepared to go online and buy our tickets just to find out….they are SOLD OUT!! I doubt if she’ll understand that Mommy didn’t have the money until today nor will she care to hear that evryone else in the tr-state has their tix….but we dont. I would truly appreciate the opportunity to help my daughter witness and experience something that will definitely impact her today as well as in the future, PLEASE and THANK YOU. My daughter thanks you as well.

I know this response is more than a couple hours after the deadline. Nonetheless, I’d really like this music. I want to take my younger cousin whom I don’t spend enough time with. We can always do te usual movies and things as such in the city. But this be my chance to show her what the college life and school spirit is all about. So despite my tardiness, please choose me!
Thank in advance for your cooperation.
Regards,
Bekah
