This morning at 12:01am sharp the world premiere of Beyonce’s “Videophone” ft. Lady Gaga (extended remix) went into full replay every hour on the hour on all MTV/VH1 channels. The high-energy and colorful video marks Bey & Gaga’s first collabo. The extended remix with Lady Gage is available on “I Am…Sasha Fiere” Deluxe Edition dropping Monday, November 23rd.


The video is visually fun…but all that grindin’ and ridin got me thinking Beyonce is a little desperate at preserving her sexy status and feels the need to “hoochiefy” herself. We’re all used to the booty poppin’ but this video is all over the place with the coochie poppin’ & leg spreading…and as for Lady Gaga…Beyonce is just pulling a Jay-Z and collaborating with the hottest acts in the game too maintain relevant (shouts to D-Dub!) I mean if you think about it, did Beyonce really need Lady Gaga in the video? NO!…However, at the same time this is definitely a good look for Lady Gaga as her The Fame Monster album to drop November 23rd. This was all a business move…Beyonce looking to reach Lady Gaga’s fans and vice versa.

As for the video itself, Hype Williams has lost all his creativity…this is just another recycled version of Kanye ft. Jamie Foxx- “Golddigger” and Beyonce’s “Check Up On It” videos. Boo!! Realtalk, the hottest part of the video was the 30 sec intro…

Sidenote: What’s up with the orgasm-like sound effects at the end, Bey? & what’s with all the needless throwing up of up ROC sign?

  • I so agree with Lex! Hype lost his creative! For me Empire State is some creative disappointment as well.

    That video shows us that Beyonce is no ANGEL at all!!! Beyonce is acting like a stripper. desperate of attention from the males. Isnt she married? huh.

  • Maybe there’s just not enough room for these two divas in the same video…would’ve like to see Gaga do her own thing than have to follow Beyonce’s gyrating a$$. As for who will cheat first in the Carter/Knowles marriage…who knows. Beyonce is just getting her Sasha Fierce on and that’s cool, but I’m getting real tired of the booty poppin’ and lack of creativity. The video is just blah, nothing FANTASTIC, just mediocre.

  • Of course Mrs. Beyonce Carter will denied that she wants to start their family now, if she is or she soon will be pregnant, you have to remeber that they are very private people and with the public trying to be all up in their business it’s fitting that she would denied any pregnancy rumors so she would be able to get through her first trymester without any problems. Can you image all the photo opts and etc would be. Look at JLO and J.HUD, people didn’t know JLO was pregnant until about her 6th month and J>HUD maybe her 7th month and do you think that the Caters would be any differnt,no they wouldn’t, so when Beyonce is about in her 6th month with a baby bump we’ll know then.   • Beyonce has been actin like a hoe for a long time. Thats nothing new. All of her dancing her songs and her videos look alike. Lokk it up its true. And as for lady gaga, she should stick to her old look i kept thinkin i was watchin a granny dancing with beyonce..
