After much media scrutiny for ruining country star Taylor Swift’s moment at the VMA’s and looking like an ass on television, Kanye West has no other choice but to be on his best behavior. Word is this past Saturday,  ‘Ye was extremely nervous before performing at the Common & Friends benefit in L.A. According to snitches, he walked around backstage at the Hollywood Palladium actually expressing his gratitude to Queen Latifah and Mos Def for allowing him to take part in the event. But, wait it doesn’t stop there! Word is during a basketball game at Chelsea Piers in NYC the day before, a player noticed that Kanye didn’t really seem like his typical arrogant self. The baller tells the NY Daily News,

“Kanye managed to act reserved, quiet and humble for once.”
