MARIAH WANTS YOU TO SMELL HER “FOREVER”

Mariah Carey is really trying to make her money long. The Diva has a new fragrance hitting store shelves in September called “Forever”. When describing the fragrance Mariah says,

“I am in a wonderful place right now, surrounded by all the things I love, and Forever captures this moment in time.”

According to Ron Rolleston, Executive Vice President for global fragrance marketing at Elizabeth Arden,

“When we work with celebrities, we aim to put together a project which is representative of their life. Mariah’s happily married, has a movie coming out in November, which already did well at Sundance, and she is releasing a new album in September. She’s got a lot of joy and optimism in her life right now, and we wanted to express that in a fragrance.”

The collection ranges from $42-250 and will be available in about 2,000 department and specialty stores including Macy’s and Dillards.

POP THE HOOD FOR DETAILS ON MARIAH’S IMPERFECT ALBUM…

After rescheduling several upcoming appearances, fans were left to wonder whether Mariah came down with  cold feet. Word is the diva’s been spending her days working on completing her new album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel which has been pushed back again to September 29th. Mariah’s mouthpiece tells People,

“Record release dates change all the time. It’s nothing unusual and it doesn’t signal anything. There are a lot of moving parts to Mariah’s professional life … She’s making sure the record is how she wants it to be and it’s no big deal.”
