MARY J. BLIGE JOINS “AMERICAN IDOL”
After American Idol judge Paula Abdul announced last week that she was quitting the hit reality television series, producers scrambled to find a replacement. It’s been announced that the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul aka Mary J. Blige will be sitting in Paula’s vacant chair. Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham has also stepped in to replace Paula and “I Kissed A Girl” singer Katy Perry will also play judge at upcoming auditions. Mary will meet up with judges Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi in Atlanta, GA.
