Can’t nobody hold Brandy down! Shorty isn’t letting anything come between her and her music career. Word is she’s currently working on a new album and has enlisted the help of the industry’s finest, The Dream and N.E.R.D. frontman Pharrell William. The Dream will pen a couple tracks for Brandy, while she and Pharrell will hit the studio together once she gets back from touring in the U.K. Since the production of the album is still its early stage, a title hasn’t been selected for the project just yet. In other related news, Brandy is also working on a collaboration album with her porn star lil’ brother Ray J which is tentatively titled R&B.
As much as I love me some Brandy, she should just take the L and stick to acting since her last album Human flopped!

She shouldnt stick to acting if Music is what she loves, Regardless of her albums flopping, The Music is still top notch, we need more people who can deliver instead of those that can sell a bunch of records from garbage, catchy, here today gone tomorrow songs.
Human Flopped for a reason, It wasnt what people wanted from Brandy, she needed a album to come back with, now its time for the heat.

Dont hate on Brandy. She is stil one of the best out there. Human did what she expected it to do, it was a album for her true fans, something she had to get off her chest. After all the drama she has been through over the years she had to sing about some stuff. NE WAYS- Brandy come back and make everyone eat there words. B-ROCKA 4 ever!

There’s no hate here…J’more brings up a very valid point. With the way the music industry is now and how fickle fans are, can Brandy really compete with the heavy hitters of today. Maybe if her marketing/promo team went hard, maybe just maybe she’ll have a shot. If you’re not booty shaking (a la Beyonce) or have a fierce style team (a la Rihanna) or not young, fresh and new…the chances of you selling out are slim. I’m a Brandy fan all day every day, but has her time come and gone. And doesn’t make it a bad thing…she just needs to focus on other ventures that’ll be more lucrative like Movies.
