2008 was one hellauva a year in music, culture and overall history. We witnessed history in the making with the election of our first black president, Barack Obama. Lil’ Wayne knocked all the nay-sayers and pulled in A Milli in a 1st week sales. Jay-Z and Beyonce finally got married and Bey admitted it. Britney Spears ended her spiral downward and made an ultimate comeback. Rappers continued to get chain snatched. With all the happy times came tragedy like Bernie Mac, Jennifer Hudson’s family, Shakir Stewart, Issac Hayes to even Heath Ledger. And let’s not forget Kanye’s blog rants and numerous scrapping with the pap.

…More female rappers. Give Remy Ma “a get out of jail free” card.
…A Soulja Boy flop. My ears can’t take it anymore!
…a 50 Cent/Kanye West collabo!

…Jim Jones to dig a hole & bury himself! He’ll NEVER WIN!
