Check out Keyshia Cole and Lil Wayne’s latest collaboration entitled “I Love You”.
Now, if you’re a die hard Mary J. Blige fan then you’ll quickly realize that you’ve heard this song before. “I Love You” isn’t new material instead it’s a cover version of MJB’s ‘94 hit which appeared on her second album My Life. Now, Keyshia may not be Mary, but her vocals are still tight! However, Weezy definitely could have left out the auto tune crap at the end, but other than that this joint is definitely pod worthy!
Speaking of the pair, Keyshia and Lil Wayne will kick off a joint tour called “I Am Music” on Sunday, Dec. 14 in Miami, Florida. Joining them on stage are T-Pain, Keri Hilson, and the Gym Class Heroes. Click here for the complete tour schedule.
ANY THOUGHTS?!
Can Keyshia’s version compete with MJB’s classic?!
This song is a mess. That’s a direct insult to Mary and the entire song. That song was crazy when it first came out. I don’t think it will be on her album and if so… you best believe MJ got paid for it.
The song is no good. Keyshia always sounds the same in all the songs she sings. Tired.
