Cafe Bustelo was born in the 1800’s in Cuba it actually was not called that at first it came to the United States in 1960 and began selling in Miami the family started off selling their product door to door around 1961.
ya all wrong Bustelo started up in the BX da bronx, nyc by Gregorio Bustelo who is from Spain was visiting Cuba and decided to make it in the coffee business
and make his version of cuban style coffee> So it never came from the outside its was just succcesful marketing for hispanic especially by Puerto ricans in the 30’s and 40’s then cubans in the 50’s fleeing Castro.
