ITTY BITTY TIDBITS!
ITTY BITTY TIDBITS!In “I can’t believe this mess” news, Danity Kane scored their second consecutive No. 1 on the U.S. album chart. WTF?!? According to Nielsen Soundscan, their album Welcome to the Dollhouse sold 236,192 copies last week. Welcome to the Dollhouse ranks as second-biggest opening of the year yet it has sold approximately 2,000 more copies than their 2006 self-titled debut which has only sold 926,000 copies to date. Now, how they’ve managed to acquire a fanbase is definitely a mystery…cuz they’re soooooo corny!
Laila Ali gets personal in Essence magazine’s May issue. She and her hubby, former NFL star Curtis Conway are expecting a bundle of joy! She states, “I don’t know yet if we are having a boy or a girl, but I’m excited that I have a life inside me that my husband and I created”. The baby which is due this fall will be Laila’s first child and her hubby’s fourth. Dude already has three other children- two twin boys and a girl. The couple married last summer in California and according to Laila she couldn’t be anymore happier. “I am 100 percent undeniably happy. I’ve never been able to say that before.” Awww, how cute…congrats to the expecting couple!
Talk about De JaVu! Stankmora filed for divorce yesterday from Uncle Russ. The mogul duo separated back in ‘06 and said they were divorcing…but apparently forgot and opted to date other people. Kimora cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their divorce…yeah ok- ya already know the real reason behind the split. The baby phat chic is asking for legal and physical custody of their two daughters. She requests that Russell get
“reasonable child visitation … to be accompanied at all times by the children’s nanny and security personnel.”
Security?? Is it that serious, damn?! The man is all about peace & unity, he’s the yoga man. Anywhoo, no word if she requested spousal support, but I’m sure she will…eventually. Gotta keep the money c’ming one way or another.
