THINGS THEY SAY: WEEZY ADMITS HIS BOO-BOO
TweetLil Wayne has spent more time in a court room in the past couple months than R. Kelly’s pedaphile ass ever has for pissing antics. The most damaging allegations against Weezy come from Arizona, where he was indicted on possession of a narcotic drug for, possession of dangerous drugs, misconduct involving weapons and possession of drug paraphernalia. To make matters worse, people are starting to treat him funny. He’s been snubbed by a few artists who have withdrawn requests for him to make his infamous guest appearance and he’s also lost some sponsorship and endorsement deals as well. However, Wayne does admit that he made a huge mistake. Here’s what he had to say:
“Everybody has incidents, everybody’s human. I made a mistake. I did make a mistake — a big mistake. I made a mistake with that, but things get better. I’ll get better.”
Although admits to his “mistake,” he isn’t pleading guilty. He continues to maintain his innocence with regards to all three cases against him. However, Wayne does admit to being negligent in not controlling his own bus.
“To this day, a lot of rappers the game be coming up to me, like, ‘Yo, man, you need to be … You gotta be … .’ Don’t tell me,” he fumed. “You don’t know what happened. You don’t know what’s going down. I had, like, 15 people on the bus. Who’s to say what’s what? But everybody puts on that black gown and becomes judges, so I’m always guilty. If [the police] would have stopped [the bus] that night, and I had everything under control, it wouldn’t have been nothing,” he continued. “I was irresponsible at that time. F— up on my part. No ifs, ands, buts about it. I don’t blame nobody but myself. I can’t blame nobody for not taking my charge. … This is my bus.”
Props to Weezy for manning up. But, real talk … dude know’s he’s guilty. It’s not like the Arizona incident was the first incident involving drugs that he was busted for. Rappers really need to smarten up and quit riddin’ dirty!
