You can’t always believe what you hear…

Timbaland is not just someone’s baby daddy as stated in the NYPost. He is actually engaged to the woman he impregnated, Monique Idlett (his publicist). Rapper D.O.E who is featured on the “Way I Are” track sets the record straight by telling AllHipHop,

“I want to clarify a few things to the Post for trying to make [Timbaland’s] fiancée seem like some random chick he knocked up. That’s his fiancée. I was there when he proposed to her and gave her a rock the size of Scott Storch’s head. This is the happiest I’ve ever seen big homie and I’m happy for him and his fiancée.” D.O.E. goes on to say that shorty is Timbaland’s “Beyonce” and, even though she doesn’t sing, “she’s a beast with handling business.”

As for the Post making Tim look bad, D.O.E has a message for them too.

“Not all Black men want to be a baby daddy. Get it right Post,” D.O.E. concluded.
