With rumors of Irv considering dropping her ass from The INC., (read more) Ashanti is probably going to be on her grind trying to promote her new album, “The Declaration” which was pushed back and will now drop early next year. The R&B princess told Access Hollywood backstage at the American Music Awards on Sunday night,
“It’s been about three years in between albums. I’ve done a lot of growing up. It’s very deep and a little bit edgier than my previous [records], so I’m excited. [I’ve used] a lot of different people so the sound is definitely, a little bit more mature. “
I just hope that her album is worth listening to and that it doesn’t get pushed back again. Then again, I get the feeling her time is up!
