Diddy has inked a multiyear deal to develop the Ciroc vodka brand which is one of Diageo PLC’s superpremium lines where he’ll be getting a 50/50 share in profits. Diddy told the Associated Press on Tuesday night, “It is not an endorsement deal. This is something that will have my daily attention.” His reason for wanting to work with Diageo was largely due to the fact that they understand that he’s not just a celebrity endorser and in his words he’s a “brand builder…a luxury brand builder”.
