Wondering if the Fugees will ever get back on stage together?! Don’t hold ya breath ’cause it ain’t gonna happen…ever! According to Wyclef, a reunion would just destroy the “myth” of the Fugees. He says,

“To me, they’re (Fugees) great and they’re gonna always be great. But the Fugees, it’s better that it leaves the myth vibe. Like The Score is a myth. When you hear it, it’s a myth. It was done in the basement. Like you don’t wanna go from there to do a sequel and you’ve destroyed your complete myth.”

Although Wyclef has no plans to reunite with the Fugees, he doesn’t have any ill feelings towards the group’s frontwoman, Lauryn Hill. In fact Wyclef goes on to praise her as being one of the best in the music business. He adds,

“When I met Lauryn she was 14. Til today, I’ve worked with a whole lot of women in the studio…her talent surpasses talent. She’s the best rapper, she’s the best singer. It’s all equal. It’s not like she’s gonna sing a song and when she rhymes she’s gonna slack on it.”

Forget the Fugees! When is Lauryn going to get her act together and put out some sh*t? The game misses you Miss Hill!

Wyclef Jean and boot maker Timberland are going green! The rapper/producer has teamed up Timberland to create his own line of eco-friendly footwear to help the redevelopment of his native country Haiti. A portion of the profits will go towards his Yele Haiti foundation, a charitable organization he established in 2005 to support education, health and community development in Haiti. Fans will also be able to purchase T-shirts designed by Haitian children Wyclef’s concerts along with organic shirts and headwear as part of the fundraising drive.

Wyclef Jean loves the kiddies so much that he’s going back to college to get a degree in what he knows best…music of course! Apparently, Wyclef hopes that by going back to school he’ll inspire young kids to take education seriously. He’s enlisted the help of Mr. Perm & a Curl aka Al Sharpton to spread his message. He says,

“I am enrolling in Berklee College in Boston to get my bachelor’s degree in music! That’s how important education is to me. I plan to work with Rev. Al Sharpton because that’s how important stressing the importance of education to children is to me.”

Speaking of Mr. Perm & a Curl, word is he’s choppin down Diamond Lisa Raye. Why do I find this so hard to believe?

It’s no “D.O.A.” but it’ll definitely get folks talking on retiring the trend…
