Will all the talk of Teflon Don Rick Ross being compared to the legend Notorious B.I.G., Diddy stirred up more controversy after calling him “The Biggie of the South”. Vibe recently caught up with Fat Joe and asked him how he felt about Diddy dubbing his new client Rick Ross “The Biggie of the South”.

“He said that? I don’t know man. Diddy’s a smart guy and Rick Ross is smart guy, but I don’t think Ross wants to be Biggie. He can’t be Biggie. There’s no replacing Notorious. No disrespect to Ross’s talent though, because I think he’s one of the nicest rappers in the game. But they always compare new artists to the greats. I understand Diddy though, because I knew Biggie very well and I know Ross. They both are kind hearts and they have a similar aura and demeanor about them. They’re similar in that way.”

Seriously, what do Biggie and Rick Ross have in common other than the fact that they’re rappers who are fat and black. I guess I must be blind ’cause I don’t see see what Diddy’s talking about.

It’s Barbie b*tches! Vibe magazine scooped up Young Money’s first lady Nicki Minaj to grace the cover of its June/July issue. Although the cover hasn’t been revealed yet, here’s a sneak peek at what to can expect.

Looks like Akon is accusing singer Christina Aguilera of swagger jackin’! The Konvict seems to think that Lady Gaga has every chick in the game shook that they’re all trying to bite her style including Miss Aguilera. He tells Vibe magazine,

“Christina shouldn’t have anything to prove or anyone to compete with. I miss the old Christina Aguilera. I like the old one better than the new one. Honestly, Gaga and Christina could probably get together and do something that’s amazing. But that’s impossible if they are both trying to do the same exact thing musically.

And Akon is convinced Christina can’t knock Lady Gaga out of the game. He adds,

“Aw man, that’s not even any competition. You are actually giving Christina too much credit. She always had her cool little look and way about how she went about things. But soon as Gaga came out, everything switched up. Christina stepped out of her own shell to become something different. And the crazy thing is Christina is really talented. She has unlimited range when it comes to singing. Her voice is out of here. “I think sometimes she gets insecure because of all of the success Gaga has had, not realizing that she was already successful before Gaga came out.”

I can’t knock Lady GaGa’s movement, but she straight up jacked Madonna’s style. So Akon needs to #sithisassdown ’cause Lady GaGa ain’t original her damn self.

It seems like every femcee is watching for Nicki Minaj, but Eve ain’t really worried. The former Ruff Ryder front woman, Eve seems not to be bothered by her “competitor” Nicki Minaj.  The pitbull in a skirt talked about working with Nicki while being on the set of Ludacris “That Chick” video. In a recent interview for Vibe magazine, Eve vented about Nicki saying:

“She definitely is a quirky chick. That’s a good word for her,” Eve said in an interview. “When she had the Freddy Krueger gloves I was like ‘Wow.’ But at the same time, whatever you decide to do, especially in music, you gotta go hard and own it. You can’t be timid wearing Freddy Krueger gloves in a video. If you look insecure, people are going to be like ‘Why are you doing that?’ You gotta f*cking own it and she did. I think that’s dope…Trust me, no one’s competition for me and that sounds cocky but I seriously live in such an Eve world. And not in a crazy-everything-is-me-bubble, it’s just that I’m building an empire. I go on Twitter and people say ‘Yo, knock Nicki Minaj out of the box, but ultimately we’re all helping each other and I’m happy seeing these chicks in the game. It’s too much testosterone. When I see another female, my immediate reaction is not ‘Oh I gotta go and get my sh*t right.’ I got 900 other things going on. I can’t keep worrying about what’s coming up behind me.”
