So what’s a girl to do when she’s missing a key essential to her outfit? She finds a way or makes one–and that’s exactly what supermodel Tyra Banks did yesterday for Roberto Cavalli at French Vogue’s 90 Anniversary Party in Paris. Tyra needed a mask for the “Masquerade” theme party so she went out and purchased some cheap fishnet stockings and made her own. She shared her “Lady Gaga-esque” DIY project with her fans on Twitter.

Although, Tyra’s mask isn’t designer, I think she did a pretty good job. But, if ya ask me she kinda looks like Spider Man.

So, is Miss Banks “STR8 STYLIN’ or WILDIN’”?

Tyra Banks’ neighbors definitely know her name not because she’s the reigning queen of reality TV, but rather because she makes too much noise! According to PageSix, last year the former supermodel copped four apartments in NYC for $10 million–which she’s currently renovating to combine them all into a single home. Word is her neighbors are pissed off about all the noise—so much so that they called 5-0 on her ass.

Tyra Banks is looking to spice things up a bit on her shit show America’s Next Top Model by recruiting Vogue editor-at-large Andre Leon Talley to sit on the judges panel. Back in 2001, Tyra reached out to Andre when she was planning the show, but he declined to participate. Well, things have changed since then as AMTN has become a huge success, so Andre wants in. He tells WWD,

“At that point, I said no because it was the beginning. I was thinking I wanted to see where it goes…I felt maybe (now) I could contribute something to it that had not bee n on the show. I just felt that it was a way to step out of the box and associate myself with a very important American success story, a very important brand – Tyra Banks.”

And Tyra is certain that Andre will make the show an even bigger hit.

She says,

“Andre speaks about fashion and he has such a passion, and the words – the adverbs, the adjectives – he uses! I know it’s going to make the viewer at home go, ‘Wow.’ It might go over their head, but he’s educating them about a time, bringing them back to a place when fashion was life.”

The next season of ANTM begins March 10th.

Now that Tyra has decided to shut down her talk show “The Tyra Show” her former employees are already running their mouths. Guess they don’t have to worry about losing their jobs for squealing.  Whatever the case may be, former employees insist that working with Miss Banks wasn’t that great.  A snitch tells the NY Daily News,

“There had been high turnover of employees for years. She and the higher-ups on the production staff could be extremely brutal. She really is a diva.”

According to another snitch who has worked on the show, “Everything had to be done Tyra’s way.”

Meanwhile, a former staff member didn’t think that working with the former supermodel was that bad. In fact the snitch agreed with most of the outrageous diva-like antics Tyra pulled.

“Honestly, I don’t know how it would be to work under her,” says the snitch, who served in a high-level position. “But for me, it was a good experience. Tyra just knows how she likes things done. And as for her ‘diva-ness,’ well, it sells.”

Word is Tyra alerted the press that she was pulling the plug on her talk show before she even informed her staff that they would be jobless come Spring.

“It wouldn’t be surprising,” a snitch says.  “When the show moved from L.A. to New York, several staffers weren’t even directly told about the change – they heard through the grapevine that it was going to move locations. Even so, a lot of those people gave up their lives on the West Coast so they could continue working for the show. Now they’re out of luck.”

Damn! I  can honestly say that I’m not going to miss her show when it goes off the air. I always felt like she tried to0 hard to be something that she isn’t… always acting like she can relate to her guests when she really can’t.

Looks like Tyra Banks is seriously jockin’ Oprah. Just a month after Oprah announced that she’s canceling her show, TyTy has decided follow in the daytime television Queen’s footsteps; shutting down her daytime talk show The Tyra Show .

“This will be the last season of The Tyra Show,” she tells fans on her website. “I’ve been loving having fun, coming into your living rooms, bedrooms, hair salons for the past five years…[Your] love and support is always felt by me and it’s given me the courage to take more exciting steps in my life. So I thank you for that.”

While, The Tyra Banks show will come to an end in Spring 2010, Tyra is already making moves. The former supermodel plans to launch a New York based film production company, Bankable Studios. She says,

“My next huge steps will allow me to reach more women and young girls to help us all feel as fierce as we truly are.”

Word is Tyra Banks may have to find a new day job ‘cause supermodel Naomi Campbell is gunning for her spot! According to UK’s The Daily Mail, the British beauty is in talks to become a host of a reality modeling show that sounds just like America’s Next Top Model, however the show would air in the UK. So Tyra really doesn’t have anything to worry about…or does she? A snitch reveals,

“Naomi has been approached with an offer, which we are talking about and discussing. An initial approach has been made. We are discussing that offer, but nothing is set in stone yet.”

So Naomi would be the UK’s version of Tyra, basically playing the same role, coaching amateur models, cursing at them and using her cell phone as a weapon when those bishes piss her off.

Supermodel Tyra Banks reveals that she loves to get naked…in the privacy of her own home of course! Ms. Banks insists that although she’d never give the camera’s a lil’ peep show, she does love the way she looks naked. She says,

“I always feel great when I don’t have clothes on… I always feel good that way.”

Tyra admits that there are times when she actually prefers being naked than clothed. She adds,

“Sometimes certain clothes, when I put them on and they don’t fit the way that I would like them to, that’s when I tend to get self-conscious.”
