In a recent interview with Complex, West Coast rapper The Game discusses his new album The R.E.D Album, his beef with arch rivals 50 Cent and Jay-Z, and Interscope Records. Check out these interesting excerpts:

Complex: 50’s been baiting Jay-Z recently. As someone who’s had issues with both of them, how do you feel about him going after Jay?

“Oh yeah, I already did that Jay-Z thing. 50’s just doing what I’m doing. Nobody went at Jay, I went at Jay. Now everybody wants to get at Jay, not saying anything about Beanie Sigel, that’s personal and I stay out of that. He’s just a man and he’s got all the right in the world, but I feel like I did something that people have been wanting to do, but everybody is scared because Jay-Z is so lyrically inclined to cut your throat and your career in half that nobody wanted to do it. But me? I just don’t give a fuck sometimes.”

Complex: What do you think that the result of that battle would be?

” Jay-Z will fuck 50 up in a battle! It would be so fast and over with. 50 is funny, but Jay is witty. Jay-Z is not to be toyed with. If he fuckin’ responds, if he feels like you’re really pissing him off and he responds, he’s gonna fuck you up! He would fuck me up, I’m just glad he didn’t fuckin’ respond, so I didn’t have to go dig in my fuckin’ bag and try to fuck him up. I definitely think that Jay-Z didn’t come at me like he came at any other rappers because I definitely would have been more disrespectful and once you start a beef with me you better be ready to go the whole motherfuckin’ 12 rounds because I will try to chew your fuckin’ ear off like Mike Tyson. I’ll do it and I think he knew that—I’m disrespectful. So Jay, he did the right thing and just kinda let it die down and I let it die down ’cause it wasn’t anything really. It was fuckin’ fun and I really admire Jay’s career. I just really don’t care too much for the man himself.”

The Game already knows…nobody wants it with Hov. So, 50 Cent needs to stay in his lane ’cause he’s never gonna get a response from Jay. Jay-Z been off that!

After being leaked on the internet, the release date for rapper 50 Cent’s upcoming album Before I Self Destruct has been moved up.  A statement from Interscope reads:

“50 Cent’s fourth studio album, “Before I Self Destruct” leaked almost a full month before the expected release date. In an effort to combat widespread piracy, the album will now be available in stores on November 16th. The album is currently available for digital pre-order exclusively on iTunes (www.itunes.com). Pre-order consumers will receive the exclusive track “Man’s World” in addition to what post-release date iTunes consumers will receive.”

“Before I Self Destruct” was originally scheduled to drop November 23^rd, but Interscope immediately hopped into damage control once the album leaked on the net. I must say that this definitely a good week for 50! He got free promo from Beanie Sigel’s rant about Jay-Z, signs Beanie to G-Unit and now his album gets moved up.

Meanwhile, 50’s arch nemesis rapper The Game’s The R.E.D Album was given the red light and has been pushed back. The album was scheduled to drop December 8th, but label bosses over at Interscope decided to push it back to allow him and Dr. Dre more time to work on the project. Using  Twitter as his publicist, he hopped onto his account to break the bad/good news, he writes,

“Album is Officially pushed back, says Interscope so that I can finish wit Dre without having to rush him, myself or the album. Think R.E.D.”

Currently there is no word on a new release date, but we’ll definitely keep you updated!

Looks like BET is finally doing something right! Word is the network is currently in talks with CBS Studios to pick up “The Game” which was unfortunately dropped from CW’s Fall line-up. Back in July, a snitch from BET did say that the network was planning to save the series and to restore its half-hour comedy format. However, the only problem they faced was the licensing fees which were deemed to be “very complicated”.

Real talk, BET might as well pick up “The Game” since they currently run its repeats. The CW was wrong for not bringing the show back for another season, but as you can see they’re trying to be on the major network’s level.

Here’s a word of advice to any rapper, do yourself a favor and don’t ever mention The Game’s name in your rhymes or else you’re in for a never-ending battle. The Game continues his assault on Jay-Z and apparently things have gotten much worse after Jay-Z called him a groupie in a recent interview with U.K.’s Tim Westwood. As a response to Jay’s groupie claim, The Game made it clear during a recent interview with The Boodah Brothers on Virginia’s 103 Jamz that he’s probably the only rapper besides Nas who isn’t afraid to go toe to toe with Jay-Z. The Game believes that Jay-Z is getting old and needs to step down so that the new cats in the game can eat too.

“Jay’s problem is that some people just don’t want to get old. He got a problem like my dad got that problem. My dad, he just still trying to be young, like, rockin’ fitted caps, and I’m like, ‘Pops, you 60. You gotta chill.’ Jay got that problem. He don’t want to get old. It’s cool to get old. But a lot of people have that problem, especially when they don’t have children. But he don’t got no children. I don’t know what’s up with that. Maybe he ain’t fertile.”

Does The Game have a point?!

Do I smell another beef headed our way?! Yep, I sure do! After Jay-Z put The Game’s name in his mouth earlier this month, dude has been going really hard overseas dissing Jay-Z. This past Saturday, The Game’s “I’m So Wavy” hit the net. Not only is The Game going in on Jay, but he also takes a couple shots at Beyonce and Kanye’s main skeezer squeeze, Amber Rose. He spits on the track,

“You got cheese and I kill rats/Do something with that/ Or respond to this/ With them big-ass lips, you got my name in your mouth.”

As for Ms. Amber Rose, The Game has some advice for Kanye West. He spits,

“Yes my n—a, so, I’m gonna give him some advice/ Get rid of Amber Rose/ I’mma tell you how she get down/ I was at Diddy’s afterparty/ Sippin’ Cris, she was whispering at Chris Brown/ I seen Chris turn his head like, ‘No’/ Then ‘Gold Digger’ came on, I pointed like, ‘Ho!’ ”
