Former Princess of the Roc, Teairra Mari drops a video for single “Automatic” off her new album At That Point set to drop June 29th. Although the track features Nicki Minaj, the Harajuku-Barbie doesn’t make an appearance in the video. I’m rooting for Teairra, but sex isn’t the only thing that’s going to sell her album. If she wants to compete with Rihanna and the other R&B chicks…she’s gonna have to come harder! Peep the video to see what my rant is about…

BOW WOW STARS IN THE “LOTTERY TICKET” (TRAILER)

Bow Wow stars in the new summer flick “Lottery Ticket” which features an all-star cast that includes Mr. “Teddy Pin-Her-Ass-Down” T-Pain, Teairra Mari, Ice Cube, Naturi Naughton and more. Bow Wow plays Kevin Carsen, an average brotha from the hood who lives with his mama and ends up winning the lottery. When word gets out that he won everyone has their hands in to get a piece of his loot.

“Lottery Ticket” hits movie theaters across the country August 20th, but in the meantime check out the trailer.

Before Rihanna there was Teairra. Check out out this exclusive RollOutTV interview with Teairra Mari where she gets candid on getting dropped from the label, the industry vs. friends, Jay-Z, and bouncing back. Yeah she got burned at an early age, but now she’s got the wits to make a comeback. Hopefully she’ll surround herself with the right people and get her career back on track, she’s already focused now its just a matter of making it happen.

I highly co-sign her sentiments on separating business from friends: “There are no personal relationships with people in this business…i have work associates, that’s what I call them. I love them dearly as work associates but nothing more. I learned that you have to separate the two.” There’s a big difference!
