Check out one of the latest singles of NERD’s upcoming album , Nothing, which is scheduled to drop on November 2nd. This project has been in works for quite some time and I know I for one would be disappointed if it isn’t released by the end of this year. Wow, imagine the year is almost at its end. Wonder what the album will sound like. By the looks of the track list below and its production by Daft Punk…we’re in for some serious heat!

N.E.R.D is back with full force! Check out their new album cover for their fourth studio album entitled Nothing, set to drop this fall.

The group came up with the title because according to N*E*R*D* front man Pharrell Williams “It’s like nothing you’ve ever heard.” Whereas their first album, In Search Of…, was an imaginative, exploration of identities, their second album, Fly Or Die, sought out the range of genres and sounds that have influenced the group, and their third album, Seeing Sounds, grinded everything together, Nothing promises to be an album that delivers a brand new N*E*R*D* sound, an album that amplifies the attitudes, style and persona that has made Pharrell, Chad and Shae the transcendent cultural icons they are today.”

Fly Guy Pharrell sat down for an interview with funny-woman Chelsey Handler of the Chelsey Late Night Lately to chat about his contributions to Despicable Me, his meeting with President Obama, her ass… and other interesting things. Pharrell, if you haven’t heard, is the composer and writer for the new upcoming 3D film Despicable Me. He is truly bossing up and I take my hat off to you Mr. Skateboard P. Peep how stylish this man looks- the Chanel cardigan is DOPE! Kanye West was certainly not the first fashionista people.

Hollywood elites and beautiful attended the Vanity Fair/Gucci Party at Cannes Film Festival Honoring Martin Scorsese in Cannes, France over the weekend. And eventhough everyone was dressed fresh to def, divas JLo and Naomi Campbell were like feathers of a feather and flocked together looking like a pair of HOT ASS MESSES!

PETA’S RESPONSE TO KANYE & AMBER: “…PATHETIC CREATURES…”

Last week Kanye & Amber stepped out onto Paris’ Fashion week in All Fur Everything and just as we expected PETA went in on their a$$e$. They calls him an “ethical dropout” and his mainsqueeze as “his sleaze sidekick”. PETA’s VP Dan Matthews goes on to say,

“Kanye can’t help making himself look like an idiot, whether at an awards show or a fashion show. He and his girlfriend look like pathetic creatures from a shabby roadside zoo.”

WOW!!! Realtalk, Kanye is America’s Public Enemy #1 right now…nobody likes him. Do you? Can we expect an ALL-CAPS comeback from ‘Ye?

PHARRELL PENNING TRACKS FOR MOVIES…MAJOR!

N.E.R.D. front man Pharrell Williams is making major moves. Not only is the rapper/producer working with some of today’s hottest acts in the music biz, but he’s also snagged a gig to pen tracks for Universal Pictures’ 3D animated movie Despicable Me. Pharrell will hit the studio with Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer and Heitor Pereira for the project.

“I love cartoons and animation, and I’ve never seen such incredible 3D CGI. To score Despicable Mealong with Hans and Heitor and write original songs for the film is a dream come true,” Williams said.

Pharrell has already penned the film’s title track and is currently working on the orchestral score and some other tracks.

Can’t wait to hear the final product! We know it’s going to be HARD!

After missing every episode of 90210 since its season premiere, I decided to tune in last night to catch up. To my surprise, last night’s episode featured train wreck Lindsay Lohan’s on-and-off again DJ girlfriend Samantha Ronson and the N.E.R.D crew who performed their track “Radio (W.T.F)”–and killed it! However, while watching them on my high-definition 52 inch screen, I felt like something or rather someone was missing from the crew. Wondering who I’m talking about? Hint: She’s the Princess of Harlem and has really DopeLips (No homo)!

Last year, Teyana Taylor the self-proclaimed Princess of Harlem and protégé of N.E.R.D frontman Pharrell Williams hit the scene with her eclectic style and catchy debut song “Google Me”. However, a year later the Harlem native’s long-anticipated debut album From A Planet Called Harlem has yet to hit store shelves, which makes me wonder what’s going on with her music career? Teyana has been keeping herself busy chillin’ with Chris Brown & the bloggers, modeling and now her very own lip gloss line “DopeLips” in the works. But, what I’m curious to know is when will Teyana bless us with her sultry voice and dope dancing skills; thus embarking on her own stateside tour. Hell, has her BFF, Chris Brown, even given Ms. Taylor any shine on Graffiti?! We wonder…but one thing is for sure, Teyana definitely has the voice, body, style, and drive that would definitely put these other R&B b*tches to shame (ie: Ciara, Rihanna, and dare I say even Beyonce…) There’s definitely more to the Princess of Harlem than meets the eye, so when will fans finally be granted what they’ve been waiting for so long? According to her MySpace Page, she’s still signed under StarTrak/Interscope…but while the world is in a Rihanna and Beyonce frenzy, when will Ms. Taylor get her chance to shine?!

NOTE TO TEYANA STANS: Let me make it clear, in no way are we attacking Teyana. And Teyana if you’re reading this, please don’t take this as “another blog site talking sh*t about you”….we’re just concerned fans.

Check out the original video for Common’s “Universal Mind Control” abover directed by Lil’ X. Clearly the label was feeling Hype Williams version better and trashed Lil’ X’s work.
Sure Hype Williams’ piece has way more graphic effects and computer generated knick-knack, but what I like about Lil’ X’s is the dancing component, especially at the end of the video where Common busts out in a lil’ break dance. Maybe if the finalized video had a little bit of both versions, maybe it would’ve received way more music video rotation….I’m just sayin’. But we gotta ask who’s finalized work are you feelin’?!

Word is Rihanna and N.E.R.D front man Pharrell Williams have been spending quite a lot of time together, including late night rendezvous’ at hotels. Apparently, these two have gotten really close since Pharrell started working on RiRi’s new album last month. A snitch tells U.K.’s Daily Mirror,

“It’s no secret that Rihanna and Pharrell have chemistry. Adding, “And not just in the studio – they seem mesmerized by each other. But Chris will be gutted to learn he could have lost Rihanna to one of the sexiest men in music. Rihanna and Pharrell talk on the phone all the time and whenever she can get a break in her schedule she’ll go and support him at a gig.”
