First, the pint-sized rapper claims that she and the late Notorious B.I.G. actually had a relationship that was deeper than just sex and now she claims he speaks to him in her dreams. According to the Queen Bee, she believes Biggie is contacting her simply because he’s not happy about his portrayal in the film “Notorious“. She tells RapRadar,

“I’m a very spiritual person and he’s come to me many times in my dreams. Biggie was so much more than what they put him out to be in that movie. And to be honest with you, I know for a fact he’s not happy. He’s not satisfied at all. I don’t think he’s happy at all, at all. Because Ms. Wallace doesn’t know Biggie at all and she barely knows Christopher, if you know what I mean. At all! And I was around. Even before he blew up so crazy, so I know how he felt about his mom. He knows who’s who and what’s what. Believe that. The way he’s feeling is going to come out later. You’re going to see who he really loved and the ones thats standing up for him the right way is the ones representing him the right way”.

Kim just needs to let Biggie rest peacefully in his grave. It’s quite obvious that Biggie still has her ass hypnotized!

It is quite obvious that the Queen Bee has a color complex issue as she openly stated that she felt Naturi Naughton who played the role of Lil Kim in the film Notorious was “too dark”. Well, B.I.G’s mother, Voletta Wallace is going in on the pint-sized rapper. According to Mrs. Wallace, poor Kim should be ashamed of herself for even saying such a thing, even going as far as calling her a “white woman trapped in a black woman’s body”! Yep, she said what we’ve been thinking for years! She says,

“She felt the character we chose for her was ‘too dark.’ Do you know why the character was too dark for her? Because she’s a white woman trapped in a black woman’s body, and you can tell the world I said it, because those are Lil’ Kim’s words. She should be ashamed of herself.”

Damn, Biggie really f*cked up Kim’s mental! Nowadays shorty is looking more and more Asian. SMH…when will Kim realize that BLACK is BEAUTIFUL?!

“I feel like I was not portrayed how I should have been in this movie. I was in love with BIG and he was in love with me. I was never a JUMP-OFF, I know this and BIG knew this. I wasn’t even able to choose who I wanted to portray me in this movie. I would have never picked Naturi, she doesn’t have a Lil Kim aura at all! She looks nothing like I looked back then. We have NO similarities. Watching her on-screen was so “dreadful” as Simon Cowell would say. She is tasteless and talentless. Never once did she contact me for input or to get a feel of me for the character. A “TRUE” actress would contact the source to be the best they can be in portaying someone. That told me right there, she wasn’t right for the part and not to mention, Naturi has got to be one of THE worst actresses I’ve ever seen and I can’t believe they chose her. I really can’t!
Another thing is, I have been dealing with legal matters as far as them not wanting to pay me and sh*t for this movie, got a lawyer involved, so everything is cool with that, but it still doesn’t change my views and feelings. This is truly Faith and Ms. Wallace’s movie. And Ms. Wallace is right, this isn’t a Lil’ Kim movie and it’s not about me. I didn’t want it to be about me, I wanted it to be REAL though. And that it is NOT. I take no part in this movie and have nothing to do with it. I love BIG and will never stop reppin him. There is NOTHING anyone can do about it. The world will see the Lil Kim story, THE REAL ME! Not some made up bullshit portrayed by a talentless has-been back up singer.”

Realtalk, after seeing the movie I am somewhat skeptical of Lil’ Kim’s depicted role. I mean was she really chasing after BIG like some lil’ hot in the a$$ puppy. I highly doubt it. Something about the portrayal just didn’t quite fit. Granted Lil’ Kim is raunchy as hell but flick portrayed her as a naive talentless rapstress hoe in training. Nonetheless, Lil’ Kim should’ve known better than to sign off on her role.
Last night’s screening of Notorious really proved how much I underestimated the flick. I figured another hood flick about a hustler turned rapper…been there done that. But this was Biggie’s story. Sure we all know how it ends, but do we know how it all began? “Gravy’s” performance was on point and eery at times. He embodied Biggie’s charisma, swagger, voice, lyrical flow…AMAZING! Eventhough I questioned Derek Luke’s ability to play Diddy, he rocked the flick too! From Diddy’s signature Bad Boy prancing and dancing, Derek shed another light on Diddy…dare I say made him more humble. And as for Naturi Naughton, her Lil’ Kim portrayal made it very clear Naturi is no longer a little woman. From matress pumping moments with Biggie to her sexy onstage antics, Naturi did her thing. Whether or not its an accurate portrayal of Queen Bee, well that’s still being determined. The relationship between Biggie and his mom was so real leading me to tears at times…Angela Bassett of course rocked her performance as Voletta Wallace. Though the flick doesn’t provide any answers to Biggie’s murder, it does shed light one of Hip Hop’s legends captivating you from the beginning.

Sidebar: I wonder what Tupac would say about his portrayal in Notorious? Hmm…

Check after the jump for what others in the hip-hop community have to say about Notorious…

“It’s a great day for my man Biggie. People finally get to meet Christopher Wallace when they see the movie. This movie makes you dance, it makes you laugh, it makes you cry and it makes you respect life and appreciate what you have in front of you.” – Diddy

“Absolute classic!! The movie made you feel just like you were part of his legacy!! Great job of recreating the times…it sent chills thru my body” – Jadakiss

“I can’t believe we finally have a movie about one of the most talented, charismatic, and creative people of our generation. B.I.G was a leader, our voice, God don’t make ‘em like that no more! He will never be replaced, I miss him a lot. He pushed music to the future! Now I can see him on the Screen bigger than life and just smile!” – Nas

“It was an amazing movie. It kept you locked from beginning to end. I woke up wanting to watch it the next day! I felt like I was able to learn more about his story and how much he impacted his fans and the music industry.” – Ciara

“This movie was well done. I danced, I clapped, I cheered. The Actors’ performances were RAW and I was exposed to different sides of Biggie I never knew. I think anyone who has as much love for Hip Hop as I do needs to see this film. I’m putting the Tyrese stamp on it.” – Tyrese Gibson

“I did it for hip-hop,” asserts Jones. “It’s as big as Obama’s being the first black president. This is part of our history in the urban community; Biggie was our first Obama.” That’s a strong sentiment, voiced in utter sincerity by the effervescent star of many of 2009’s most exciting projects. Juelz, meanwhile, takes a more personal tack: “This is my way of saying thank you to Big. I never got a chance to meet him, so this is me as a Harlem dude saluting a cat from Brooklyn, in a small but meaningful way. Jim and I figured that so many people in the hip-hop community would be going to the see the movie individually; if we can make it so that everyone sees it together, that’s a great thing.”
