Aside from the fact that he recently copped a plea and is expected to serve a year in the pen for possession of an illegal gun, rapper Lil Wayne isn’t letting his legal woes stop him from having a good ole’ time! Word is Lil Wayne and buddy Nelly were spotted partying it up at a Miami hot spot. A snitch reveals to the NYPost,

“They were with a big group of women and stayed until 4 a.m.”

Lil Wayne is expected to be sentenced in February, not to mention he already has to stand trial in March 2010 to face drug possession charges stemming from an 2008 arrest in Yuma, Arizona.

Last week we reported Nelly and Ashanti called it quits and all because of some chick by the name of “Jessica Rabbit”. It’s been speculated the homewrecker as Melyssa Ford, however Ms. Ford’s publicists hit us up with this official statement:

“My relationship with Nelly is strictly professional. As the former spokesmodel for Apple Bottoms, our interaction was amicable but limited to work I have not seen or spoken to Nelly in 2 years so the person they are referring to in the media as “Jessica Rabbit” is not me.” states Ms. Ford. She goes on to further say “We shot an Apple Bottom campaign in 2006 in Miami and we taped the Black Poker Stars International Show on BET in Vegas in November 2007.”

The NY Daily News refers to a Jessica Rabbit as the lady in question, but Ms. Ford hasnt been referred to that in years… theres a new Jessica Rabbit and her name is Jessica Maximus.

And before the rumors swirl outta control, Jessica “Rich” Rabbit issued the following video blog shutting down rumors of her creeping with Nelly.

“I’ve never met Nelly. I’ve seen him from a distance…I never met this guy. I don’t have his phone number. You definitely never seen me in Vegas or Miami with no Nelly. If you do a search on the internet, you’re not gonna find sh*t because its not me. There’s a lot of Jessica Rabbits out there and it sucks that everyone thinks thats its me…I don’t think its fair people are trying to put the blame on me when there’s no evidence out there at all that it was me.”

So we ask, will the real jumpoff please stand up!

RUMORVILLE: ASHANTI & NELLY BITE THE DUST!

Word is Ashanti and Nelly are the latest Hip-hop couple to call it quits. These two supposedly ex-lovebirds managed to keep their relationship a secret for a hot minute until Nelly blew the whistle and finally admitted that Ashanti was indeed his girl. Earlier this year, talk of marriage was even swirling around after Ashanti admitted that a wedding was “absolutely in the cards” for them. According to the NY Daily News, Nelly wasn’t ready to settle down with Ashanti and commit to just only her. Snitches say that Nelly has moved on and found himself a new piece of arm candy. Word is video vixen Melyssa Ford is the new woman in Nelly’s life. Apparently, they’ve been spotted spending a lot of quality time together.

Damn, I guess four years meant nothing to Nelly seeming as though he’s already wifed up another broad.

Are wedding bells in Ashanti’s future?! Well, according to the songstress they are! She recently confessed to Us Weekly that she plans on walking down the aisle with her longtime boo, Nelly.
She says, “Absolutely. It’s in the cards for me. I believe that I have a couple more things I need to do before that happens. However, Ashanti urges her fans not to believe everything they read about her and her relationship with Nelly. She adds,

“I should have had six or seven kids, been married three times and secretly engaged now. But none of it’s true.”

Here’s a new track from Bow Wow titled “Big Time” featuring Nelly and Ron Browz which will be on his upcoming album New Jack City Part 2 set to drop on March 31st. There isn’t much to say about the song other than the fact that the beat will make you want to get up and do a lil’ two step. On another note, Ron Browz needs to stop trying to replace T-Pain with that Auto-Tune ish, that’s all I’m saying!

After being locked down for five years, Nelly wants to pull a Jay-Z and make Ashanti his wife. But, there’s just one thing, well rather one person that’s holding him back from popping the big question. Word is Nelly can’t stand Ashanti’s momager, Tina Douglas! Really? Snitches say,

“Tina sticks her nose in everything because she’s also Ashanti’s manager. She’s always pushing Ashanti to make more money, to always look great. It stresses her out, and Nelly doesn’t like that”.

Nelly has been telling Ashanti that she needs to become more independent, but it’s kind of hard because her mom has a really strong personality and Ashanti’s scared of her.

REASON BEHIND ASHANTI’S WEIGHT GAIN…

These days Ashanti has been looking a whole lot thicker, which leads one to think that either Nelly is doing his job in the bedroom or she really knows her way around the kitchen. According to Ashanti Nelly makes good pancakes, but that’s pretty much it. She says,

“I love to cook — especially during the holidays. I make a special orange chicken dish, mac and cheese, rice and beans … all that good stuff.”

But Ashanti still manages to find some time to keep herself in shape by making sure she squeezes in a lil’ workout plan into her busy schedule. She adds,

“It’s really hard this time of year. But I find ten minutes here and there to do some ab work or throw on a DVD while I get on the bike. You just can’t think about it too much.”
